Hehe. You guys are optimistic. Sculpts aren't that fast to do. They take about 3-4 weeks to do on average. I do hope to finish him sooner though. The Drake head took me almost a month, but Sully only took me about 2 weeks so it ranges.

Right now I'm just gathering up references to print and sculpt the likeness of the head. I do need your guys' help on the clothing and accessories. Can you help get as many images as you can on his outfit, saber, armors, etc.? Any close up detail shots or some good screengrabs will help tremendously. I'm kind of flying blind because here are so many versions of him and the pictures that I have found aren't very detailed.

Lol, it's the anticipation. Just a few weeks makes it feel like forever. And no problem, I'll try and find as many as I can. I believe Raul Anubis said he had life size scale replicas of the saber hilts so you should ask him for some references. Were the pictures I gave you before any good?

Custom stuff in general take up a lot of time to be perfected. One question i have is this: When do you estimate drake, starkiller and elizabeth will be ready to ship? I know you can never know when something like this will be ready, i just want to have a general idea. After the summer, next year, that kind of a release window. I want to po some im3 stuff (tony, mark xliii,iron patriot) and since i already have the 10th doc on po and sherlock,watson,vader and possibly zod,supes,arkham bats and joker will be released next year or the end of this, i'd like to have a general idea of each fig's release. I have to manage my money and that's the only way of doing so. Again, i don't want a detailed release date, just a small indication of when i should expect them.

Also, i'll try to find some close up shots of galen tomorrow, it's 23:30 here.

Cleveland, the images you sent were helpful, but it doesn't show the armor bits very clearly. I can try and guess some of the bits but if we have more clear pics in different angles that would help dramatically.

Darthkostis, custom figures to take a long time to do and I'm working on them any free and waking time I have. Some projects move faster than others for whatever reason. Like Sully just went smoother than Drake because he didn't have as many parts to do and for some reason his headsculpt just came out better and faster. If I had to take a good guess on timeframe, I would say:

Sully - May
Drake - June
Elizabeth - July
Starkiller - August

Again, I'm doing what I can to move these and get them done since I still have a few figures of my own that needs to finish up.

Wow! That's really,really fast. I'll need to do a looooot of saving. I just hope that Sherlock,Watson and vader get pushed back and that the Mos and arkham figs get released next year (which judging from ht's release schedule is most likely).

You can always put a deposit down to reserve it and then make payments. We can work something out so no worries. Sully is the furthest along since I just need to finish his gun at Jen is reworking his outfit a little. But the others I am still tweaking so it might be further out.

Easter is in two weeks and then my name's celebration. In July i have my birthday so i'm confident i''l manage to gather the cash for them. I know drake costs 400 and galen around 250 (i need a body too) i just don't know how much Liz will go for. Still, we have a long time since the summer. I just hope the official releases i'm interested in get pushed back to next year and from the looks of it that's what will happen.

Also, do the figs come in their own "boxes" (with art on the outside,etc) like the official ones or not?

I'm working on some art for Elizabeth, I'm not sure it will be in a "fancy" box, but I'm looking for some nice boxes. . . but at the same time, I don't want to add $30 to the cost, because it comes in a $30 box. So, y'know. . . .

There's some inexpensive U-Line white boxes, that I'm thinking about "fancy-ing" up, but we'll see. . .

The only ironman figs i'm interested in are the mark xliii, iron patriot and maybe the new tony. Thankfully they're all coming out next year (tony is slated for august but i don't believe he'll launch then). As for the others i think they'll be released some time next summer. Or they might rlease the arkham figs in christmas to go with the new arkham game.
