Yes clothing set is a go. But if we want the best accuracy I will need someone to volunteer and give me a schematic of the clothes and good references in an organised manner. Possibly mail it to me directly. Because most of the time I will be the one in touch with the tailor. And I personally didn't like Gangs of New York much and I felt it was pretty much a clichéd revenge drama with a star cast and characters. So my interest isn't as high nor my eye as keen as you guys to know what's right and what's looking good.

So please any volunteers to organise the references for the clothing so that I can despatch it to the tailor as soon as possible so that she too can start work.

I doubt clothing will cost us $500...rainman H+C are 400-450. Then again, depends on the run size and the tailor's pricing.

of what i heard Moe was 350. But somehow got a feeling on this thread that it will be 500 (may be i am wrong). with a 2 month old little angel - I like to now plan my spends well and with over 20 figures already committed for me for this year (including HTs), i was seeing how to generate 299 + 250 + 500 + 125 + shipping... Hmmm....

How much was Moe's run of the character?

The clothing send is no way going to be $500... I dont know how you got a figure like that, or who is making price quotations. The price will be decided ONLY after a proto is shown.

i love it when people try to quote #s based on other tailors for different types of clothing...its bad business all around and I really wish people would stop that because there are folk out there that would take advatage of that.....one day we will get one quote and the next day they will get another quote change....and it will be based on what someone said their set "should" sell for.....totally bad business....

yeah. its a bit confusing for some of us... somewhere i believe i read that its likely to be 500... not sure as i have been on business travel for 2 weeks and trying to catch up with what ever i can... so many bill threads running. but probably i read it on this thread itself...but i am sure i saw the number 500 somewhere...

NO YOU ARE RIGHT....it did pop up...by people that have no idea or input on it...but hey...listen to them...and watch the tailor come back with that same quote....on that day....i will quit this hobby...lol

well said... when i first started collecting i said only bankruptcy can make me stop collecting... well who knew... it was right round the corner...:slap

But if the price is only decided after the proto, then how do you know it won't be $500???? :panic:

Cause if Yunsil could get an equal or lesser quantity out at $375 bundled with a ton of accessories and that the clothing for Cowboy is $220, I would assume this would run up to a similar amount.

Moe did these at one point, didn't he? But I'm also not aware of folks you can commission to do clothing that can match Kato or Yunsil. They seem to be in a league of their own (and before someone says it, yes, I know some will argue that Kato is the only one in his own league :D ).

I'd say that he's in a cut above (with Yunsil right on his coat tails) with certain things and they are pretty equal when it comes to other things. Maybe on average he has her beat by a nose but they are definitely the King and Queen of the game in my book.

Wow, great to hear Robbie will do the chest piece, in any case so the main body will be the TTM18 only I guess?

Keep in mind Axe that the KO is taller than the TTM18, which IMO is more fitting for DDL's height anyway. If the outfit is tailored for the 18 then it will be too short on a KO, but if it's tailored for a KO the 18 will fit with long foot pegs. So making it for the KO gives the option to go either way but making it for the stock 18 will make the outfit less versatile.
