I'm the same, somethings just off to me

Still prefer my Inigou sculpts...

So you've already said.

Got mine a couple of days ago. Thanks, Jnix.

Even though some of the negative comments here are from people that haven't even bought it or have it in hand, I do have to partly agree - something is off on this one. Looks better in the flesh, just not quite what I was hoping/paying for. Mine doesn't seem to have the same level of paint detail as the example on the first page either, and it has another problem that I need to contact Jnix about.

This is my fourth sculpt from Jnix and probably my least favourite (close call with Luke) and, in my opinion, nothing has since matched the first Han. Let's see what others make of it when they get them.

Iv had a good look at the painted hatted sculpt today, i too initially thought the sculpt was off but after a lot of studying it although i don't think its as Indiana as the MJ Choi sculpt i do think its spot on Ford. I think the only thing throwing it off is the light/ ginger almost invisible eye brows

Maybe if the eyebrows and stuble were a little darker. Id be interested to see some other painters work.

Love the sculpt. I did a few paint touchups and made the eyebrows and beard darker. Also, I put a skin tone wash over the mouth to help with the pink lips and the black in the middle of the mouth. Overall, real happy with my Indy now. Thanks JNIX for making this sculpt.

Fantastic paint work! Looks so good, it's like you photoshopped it.

First JNIX sculpt. Not bad at all. Very impressed. I would suggest to people that they dull coat it. Two small pieces of sticky tac over the eyes, then dull it. It seems to help bring out more of the likeness for some reason.

On with the sh** photo's.

That sounds like a good idea... Looks great!!

Do you mean a very light spray of regular Testors Dullcote?

Any chance of causing any damage?

I have some Tamiya something or another. I can post the exact stuff i use if you like. I'll have to do that later though.

Use blu-tac or sticky-tac, whatever it's called where you are, and roll a couple of tiny pieces to cover the eyes as they are gloss. I used a bung to hold the head sculpt, but you can use anything you like. Practice on something first, and don't cake it.

If your unsure don't do it at all, but it is a simple thing to do.

Those are bad pictures too. Once i've finished the figure i'll get better ones, but even with bad pictures i think it looks a whole lot better. In hand as always, very good sculpt indeed once dull coated.

Thanks for the tips, man :duff

I think I'll have a go at it... The Testors should be fine if used sparingly...

It is a super sculpt... Definitely getting closer to that elusive "perfect" Indy!!

Just got mine today. I was a little worried about it from what people were saying. Taking it out of the box, my first impression was that it was quite good but too shiny, so a dull coat seems like a very good idea. Might tone down the pink in the lips as well like DEATHASYLUM did.
