Hear Hear for Baloonman.

Also for a Jnix Craig...

I think the problem with those two guys is that there just be NO definitive versions of them. Both men have so much character in both persona and facial features.

Unless they are ALIVE, moving, talking, we may never feel like they can be captured in an iamanent form.

I don't know why but I find the hatless likeness is better than the hatted. For some reason, I'm just not feeling it so much with the hatted version. I know that sounds ridiculous because it's the same face on both, but the hatless head just OOZES Raiders-era Ford to me. I don't get the same feeling when I look at the hatted version. Weird.

The hatless version is amazing! I wish I could've afforded both, but I had to choose.

Looks great, also different to the painted one offered. Who painted the sculpt...?

I was curious so I gently applied a little pressure and was able to pull the hat off. It appears JNIX did not use a lot of glue to attach the hat. Each one may be different so proceed at your own risk.

Painted by Jnix. I asked him about why the beard growth is so subtle (I asked him to make it darker on mine) but he had to choose a happy medium otherwise he would have been doing countless versions (apparently lots of us sent photos to him showing what we wanted ours to look like). It's a shame that the beard growth wasn't painted more dark as I think that would have really helped - especially on the hatted sculpt which looks almost clean shaven.

If any head should be shiny, surely it must be Indy. He's always got a sweaty appearance in the movie so I think the shine on these heads are perfect for the character. Personally, I wouldn't put any dullcote on them.

It does need a shot of dullcote.

With this, did you apply a dark acrylic wash to get the beard looking like that or dry brush?

Used a couple of different shade washes to lay down the base and went over it with a dry brush to bring out the details.
