I would like to thank some of the guys here for:
Threatening the artist with paypal disputes because they felt cheated. Panicking and being disappointed by the paintjob before receiving it in hand, Nicely justifying and being 100% sure that the recast has a better paintjob, and also loudly announcing your intent to buy the recast as a way to 'get back' at the artist. Chiming in about how some of the sculpts you have seen (though never held in hand - including this one) is miles better hence your reason for not ordering it. How the recast is again a much better deal, and people should buy it instead of this. How this is such a massive scam that Darklord Dave (the site owner) should try to mediate this 'mess' and get everyone their money back.
You have all contributed immensely in shaking the artist into actually having a moment of questioning his own ability!
I know its an expensive sculpt hence so much worry.I know that really well, thats why I couldnt afford it myself. But some of the reactions I have seen is just off the charts. Ironically NONE of the complainants emailed to the actual email where they communicated during the whole ordering process to see if they could get their issues fixed. Most just threw their two cents hear and were already lamenting, plus a lot of guys who never ordered too left their little baits of negativity.
Feels like a slap on my face after all this effort. We have come over a lot of things and tried our best to take all type of input to tailor this for everyone, from getting everyones input on the sculpt, later adding another hair option, then we faced issues like recasters getting ahold via a customer and then being blamed for 'leaking it purposely' etc etc. But inspite of the project being a success financially for the artist, all in all for me it feels like the most draining experience... and a bitter one too.

I'm actually very jealous at the picture above my post because that's at least somewhat what the proto looked like...not mine...the paint is horrendous!!...I'm VERY pissed about this..!!
