this is 1/4 scale remy
This is the first time Adam is attempting complete real hair BTW. All his previous sculpts till date in 1:6 has been the mixed media approach. Majority sculpted with fine threads to create the illusion of real hair.

With all respect to that application let me show you a clear pic of his latest 1:6 sculpt. This is courtesy 'Hiesenberg' from this forum who recently sold it. The pictures will show you the extent of hair he adds to the sculpt. (Also in small there are pictures of one of his original Joker sculpts unpainted and unhaired sent to Kato for tailoring his now legendary clothing)I agree, a mixed media version is actually what I'm proposing.
My posting the 1/4 scale above has nothing to do with complete hair or mixed media.
All I'm saying is picture that sculpt...dont worry if its 1/4...just picture that sculpt above in sculpted hair and it wont be as realistic as it looks.
Okay, if you want to go back to a 1/6 example, here's Adam's 1/6...picture this in full sculpted hair and do you think this will still look as real as it?

Which will show you that if you want to do it that much, you can get any decent customiser to add it without any hassle over this sculpted hair sculpt itself.
As you can see the hair strands added are not numerous and also very superficial in nature. However when it comes to do this in large quantities in a deadline, it is quite a not economically feasible prospect.
The artist is responsible to all the customers not only for the product but also for its time space.
Honestly hairing the sculpt even in the superficial manner Adam does to his is not an ideal production step for a long extended run. And I personally am pushing for the edition size to be made higher because I hope to be able to get this sculpt to everyone who wants one.
What I think everyone will agree is the sculpt would look a lot better with a mix of real and sculpted, now if you want to add some real hair which most of us do we are not gonna be able to with the sculpt as is.it has to be sculpted a certain way to have it look right.with the pics we got I don't see it being possible to add real hair, sure you can just glue it on top but it's gonna look strange.shouldnt there be some kind of vote?also if I'm remembering correctly this project was started to get a joker head as good as Adams,Why not use his for reference?his are perfect.to me this looks like the dx11 without the smirk,I think it should look similar to Adams, not because we want to copy his sculpt but cause he sculpted it correctly.he got everything right,so realistically if it doesn't look like Adams it's not right.to me there is a lot that needs to be fixed before it can be considered on the same high end scale as Adams.
Probably, thats the plan till date.it doesn't look like the br sculpt at all :lol
Don't compare it with pic of the br sculpt unpainted! it kill everything that hot toys has done already!
Don't forget that it just the first wip
axe> Can't you tell me if the sculptor will paint the sculpt himself?
