Looks Awesome Axe.
Especially like the front view.

Maybe the chin for me and the frown lines on the forehead.


Not sure about the lines on the forehead after the cast if it is gonna be a lot lesser, but looking at the Heath Ledger's photo, that lines are almost never there and it looks just as a thin lines going across instead of curves to me.

Looks amazing. I think it's on par to adam's neutral sculpt that he gave to Kato (the unpainted one).

I'm curious bout the hair though, it looks like adam's version for the semi rooted one. Will the partial parts of the hair be added to the side of his temple? Because HT's did have a few separated hair parts, while Adam's uses partial rooted hair.

Yeah, HT always adds those wrinkles on their sculpts too and Ledger doesn't have them. Thats just the way they did the make up either for aesthetic or to simulate the make up wearing off due to his facial expressions. It may not be an issue once painted up but unpainted it throws the sculpt off a bit.

Either way, the moment of truth will be when this thing is painted, for me. Looking forward to that.

Anyway, was it ever decided if we'll all get our own paint ups, like a choice of three or so?

So I took the liberty of adding some color and I guess I found at least one problem with the sculpt.




Heath's eyebrows are little higher than in the sculpt. I noticed that as I was coloring them in. Also, his eyes may be a little too small

Sculpt Update. Its almost close to finalisation I guess from the skin texturing, however as always all suggestions are very much welcome.
Please note that the skin textures and lines are a little exaggerated to ensure that they look natural when casted, as a certain percentage of details are lost in the casting process, which is normal.

OMG!!! That is beautiful!!!
I do agree about the lines on the forehead, I think most of the nice sculpts dont have it, and its just there on the paint
to simulate the lines.
Other than that...

This one looks like its turning out really nice.Would it be possible to get a size comparison next to a Hot Toys head to make sure its not undersized or to big?
