The unpainted casts with hair gap filled out will start production after the painted normal versions, correct?

Yes... kind of. They will try to be done parallely to ensure fast completion of the project. I dont want very long turnover periods for projects as it makes collectors more uneasy. Plus its expensive too.

Impression I got was that he was doing the sculpting and painting, so if anyone else is involved my guess is it would be a caster and maybe someone else doing the shipping?

If there are enough people interested maybe another run later in July. Only after everyone in this run gets their orders. But the problem is that since the artist has to do his main professional commitments and is able to work on this only during his/her respective free time. And we all know in life that free time is such a luxury.
