Yes, its not ethical to post it here. But that point aside, thats an amazing sculpt no doubt, it seems like miles better than HT's 4th attempt. Hair is more accurate than anything HT has ever put out, though it could use some rooted hair hanging out on the sides to add more realism to it.

All remaining sculpts almost finished, I hope to show you some pics before they all start shipping out in next coming weeks...

A quick phone camera pic, so please consider the slight fish eye lens distortion.

An almost complete Mob Boss meeting Makeup, normal non hair extension version - some touch ups are still remaining though

Glad to see the red paint around the mouth area is neat and not sloppy like the first batch. Can't wait to see the Interrogation one though!

you missed focus just a tad lol.. mine's mob boss meeting with hair extension, can't wait to see how it turned out! :)

Its the same painting... different pictures from different people. The only change in paint is as people suggested the lips... which previous owners can fix easily on their own by going over the part they feel is unnecessary with a small bit of white paint/marker. Since its essentially a makeup layer itll fit in easily with the rest of the paintjob.

Will start shipping from mid/late next week, its holidays out there till then for Thanksgiving. Im glad all this is finally coming to a close, and hopefully people will get what they have been waiting for since the project started last December or something...

Here are some WIP shots of my paint-up, before I start painting the eyes and the make up. I'll also touch up the hair and hairline after I apply the white make up. This was the first time I properly painted skintone, I think it came out alright. I used Darran Carnall's youtube tutorial, that helped me greatly.
Any thoughts, critiques, suggestions before I continue?

You should use the base resin colour and extreme layers of diluted acrylics and sealer layers to get that depth in skin tone. Right now this painting style will work, but will kind of negate the advantage of the resin colour and quality chosen for casting.

You do the same mistakes as I do. :lol

First: your layers of paint are to thick. Water them down to a level where you belive its too much watered down. Than add layer per layer and alway let it dry. I am in the same boat brother, I just cant get it right. Less is more sometimes, I guess. :lol

Yeah I was thinking about trying that, but I have very limited experience in doing that (only on one Beto Jason sculpt so far, and that's mostly hidden by his mask anyway), so I chose not to try with this sculpt. I did work a lot with washes as per Darren Carnall's tutorial, although that's not designed for a sculpt in this resin.

Hm, I've actually used pretty diluted colours already, with both water and medium, but not to the extent as axecutioner suggests of course. There are probably about 5 layers on there so far I think (both washes and drybrushes), and the skin texture of the sculpt is still clearly visible. I know what you mean though, it doesn't look as good as it could/should. :lol I think/hope the white make up will cover up most of the imperfections of the skintones though. If all fails, I'll just have to strip the paint completely again. :monkey4

The hair looks a little too green but I guess that's hard to say without seeing the makeup

Yeah it's pretty green, although that's mostly deliberate. I've never been satisfied with how dark HT paints their Joker hair, and lightened that up in the past as well. Looking at some more stills, I think I need to create a greater contrast between the darker roots and lighter tips though.
