I've missed a lot in this thread but from all the pics I've seen of his painted sculpt, that doesn't look the same. Unless he just made changes from the norm on this one

Dreamworks does some outstanding paint ups, not many will dispute that, but I'm just not crazy about this latest Joker paint up. He looks sad.....

I normally agree with your pov, but not this one. I think this one looks like Joker during that party crash scene where he goes 'not sure if serious' meme :lol

I think its because he painted the Irises large and looking sideways, giving the appearance of bigger eyes and thus, enhancing the likeness.

So I'm not sure if this is the same recast of the head that showed up on eBay, but looks like some of the retailers are carrying it as well. Might be worth a shot to let Monkey Depot know as they probably would not want to support this kind of activity.

Just got this sculpt off of a fellow freak(thanks again, Jason!!!!) and let me say WOW! I think minus the upper lip , which really doesn't even look bad in hand, this is perfect. The likeness is scary good.

And the recasts I've seen don't even come close. That one on monkey depot looks like dog **** compared to MJ12s actual sculpt.

I think the paint job looks fantastic. I'll have a few pics later tonight when the boss, aka my 1 year old, goes to sleep. Again though, the only thing is the upper lip but honestly, in person it doesn't look bad at all.

Yeah, if you're gonna show that at all, then you should move that discussion into a more generic "Joker customs" thread rather than the thread devoted to the original piece by the artist.

Agreed... it's bad form. I get you can't afford it, or choose not to spend the money on it. But it's insulting to the artist and anyone who did legitimately pay to own this work.
