Voted Indy. If the sculpt comes painted at HT quality and can be swapped with the HT body, it's a purchase.

That's the plan, accommodate all of those DX05 owners eagerly awaiting an upgrade.

HT's head aside, the rest of the DX package is great. I'm getting in on this at the ground floor, and will watch this thread very closely. I want to just pay off the head painted and just pop it onto the DX05.

I doubt it will come with a neck adapter, but hopefully it will be drilled for one.

I also am pretty happy with the rest of the Indy release, but many have issues with it, as well. My main additional complaint is the body size. I don't love the jacket, but don't feel the need to pay $200+ for a better one.

Maybe we should make sure the sculptor has the DX body available as a reference for the paint color when the time comes. . .

Wait wait wait... a lot of info to gather. Ill need to procure a Hot Toys DXIndy body and sculpt and hat for the artist to ensure they are all compatible. Plus let me tell you guys one thing. It may be a shock for some but I just havent been able to watch all the Indiana Jones movies. Actually I just cannot stand Indiana Jones

Why?

Because I saw Harrison Ford onscreen for the first time as Han Solo, and since then EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE, other than Han Solo, I just couldnt somehow be reconciled with the fact that he was not Han Solo being an Archeologist, a Submarine Commander, or even the President of The United States. :lol

So I will need some of you to volunteer to give me/point to me all the best references that there is of Indy AND the expression you all can agree to in majority.

I'm no Indiana Jones fanatic/expert as others here may be, but after following a lot of the discussion in other Indy-related threads, a head with attached, sculpted hat may be preferable to trying to do a hatless sculpt that the existing HT hat would work with.

He also has lots of iconic looks, so getting a consensus choice might be hard. I would prefer a more stern/stoic look, like from the beginning of Raiders, but maybe a poll is in order.
