Is something not up to par with the Hot Toys version? Or is this aimed primarily to folks who don't have that one? I'm asking honestly, as I have the HT version but may consider an upgrade if I'm not seeing some noteworthy deficiency.

Yep the hot toys is way outdated. The sculpt is still tops, but the suit is in dire need of an upgrade to keep up with the other great new godfather customs out there

Hot toys sculpt is great.

Just needs the right paint touch up really.

Hard to argue with a guy whose user name IS Godfather, and to each his own, but I think in the right painters hands (Paul Prentice here) it's pretty damn good...

No disrespect to him but it's a rushed sculpt I've seen it painted by a few and it just isn't as good as it looked. :dunno
I might go for a resin recast of the original as that seems to be the only decent choice.

Sorry to say Rocco's hasn't an ounce of Brando likeness IMO.

Original Hot toys takes it for me, although it's kinda a bummer sense i sold my official hot toys set few months ago, but if this happens (which it seems it will) then I'll stop at nothing to build the definitive Don, GF + GF2 have been my favorite films sense I was 16. Super pumped for this.

It's ok but there's not much brando in the sculpt yet the 3D render looked good :dunno

This is a really bizarre question but back last year I spoke with a friend about doing an extra pack. If it's possible and fees-able would any one be interested in a Don Vito accessory pack? Just an Idea and I've sent the guy a pm to see if it's possible.

there are a few good options out there for sculpts, which makes it all the more ideal to have a top quality outfit made. already at 19 after only one day, its safe to say this will be a go!

approx price will be $230


to answer the rose question, i doubt its something that would be able to be included from toribox, getting an accessory pack as mentioned by godfather1408 is probably the way to go, unless you can track one down from the original HT or bootleg recast

in terms of bodies, I would like to have this tailored with the original hot toys fatsuit, and my initial thought is advanced TT? the bigger shoulders and arms could fill the don out. lets hear some suggestions from other folks!
