I love the Grinch, but I find the Popeye truly unbelievable. I think it is because he is such an obscure movie character that was such a staple in my childhood.
 
The forearms are done. Sculpted, molded. Just not casted. I had a bit of a setback with my D&D casting because of this polar vortex. It's just a matter of tinting the silicone and casting at this point. The thought is that these silicone arms will just slip over the TTM19 arms. I'm using a casting of the TTM19 arms as the 'core mold' which will create the correct size/shape of the cavity. So when you slip them on, it will fit snug and the correct sculpted shape will remain.

agree completely. I watched this movie when I was a kid and my brothers and I still quote it...along with a whole slew of other films from the 80's. "where'd you get that pro nun skee ation?"
 
I'm only 21 but I remember watching this and wizard of Oz with my grandad Sunday afternoon bowl of ice cream and jelly and lay on the floor and watch these and a bit of worzel gummidge too!

Each figure in my detolf is a symbol of a memory in my life.
I look forward to popeye just need an olive ;)

I'm the exact same way. Most of my figures are characters from movies I watched as a kid. Yes, we need an Olive. I have never sculpted a female before. sounds like a nice challenge. :)
 
Think that's what make's this hobby so great is the memory.
Haha I'm looking into clothing sets always a 1st for sculpting a female Mike ;)

I wish someone would make Worzel gummidge tried to find someone who'd do it as a comission :(
Don't think you guys over in the states ever got this show well worth watching.
