Thanks for sending me here Jay! I'm obviously in. I like the idea. One thing I learned about MJ's sculpt is that the neutral expression is usually the most desired but the Joker has to have some sort of expression, even if it is subtle. The laughing sculpt is ambitious and I'm very interested. I'd be in for sculpted hair unless someone could offer the service for people who can't do it.

Is anybody interested in a more tense smile? Like when he says hi to Dent? Or when he's holding Rachel's face? I'm just brainstorming

Exactly what I was thinking, Kia. Anyway. There are too many excellent neutral expressions out there. I just hope I can do this character justice.

Personally I like when he clenches his teeth but when he did that to Rachel his eyes were always closed so I don't know of that would be a good idea. I feel like the smile should show teeth and sort of mock the viewer while also have a hint of aggressiveness. I have no idea what I'm saying

yeah I just like the double rows of clenched teeth in the nurse pic. I think it looks a little angry. The angry would probably work with that right? It's a tough call

I really look forward into this project as I am too much in love with Ledger plays. I love the expression when he ready to slice the mob's mouth after saying WHY SO SERIOUS?!
It is like an evil, angry, unloved and vengeance expression!!!! WHY SO SERIOUS?!

Glad you're on board here, hnlee! I'll go back to this when I'm done with the Ninja Master's 2nd Run. That would be probably be mid to late March.

But please keep the discussion going, any suggestion will help me a lot!

Keep your original idea. You have chosen an expression and shouldnt change it. You can always sculpt a second one later down the road.

This being said, I would love to get a decent expression for my nurse custom, however, not sureif the one above would be the one Id want...

Probably in a week or two. I'm currently in Batch 3 of the Dented Janus Coin project, and I'm going to sculpt this during nights when I'm in Batch 4.
