Well i believe the future will be just as good. With better technology and custom techniques and the drive of competition. Never say never.

Posted the test paint, guys. Check it out! =D I wanted to test how I will approach painting this thing and to see if the likeness shows through the makeup. This is a quick paintjob and the final prototype will be much much better than this. The bottom pic of the painted headsculpt composited to a screenshot from the movie. Only adjusted the levels and saturation and erased the hairline. No other editing was done.

Wow that is amazing, that is practically dead on! The eyes look different because in that scene Ledger opened his eyes up to change his slight squinty look. So in some aspect this sculpt looks more like Ledger than the screen shot. :clap

Thanks, guys! Sorry for having no updates. Honestly, I'm having a bit of trouble sculpting the hair and had to start over. It's going well now so I'll probably post pics of the prototype midweek. With this are the preorder details.

Plan is a mix of sculpted and real hair. =) But no glass eyes. Sorry.

Phenomenal work Jay! Very, very impressive. I thought I was happy with my DX11 sculpt but not so sure anymore. I'm very interested to see how the hair turns out.

Unfortunately the project is dead..... JK :rotfl Just finishing up the sculpted hair. Making a mold in a day or two.
