There was a sculptor, "Chango Designs", that made a Brynner and a Brynner with face plate. I can't find the site anymore but maybe someone knows what happened to him and he could help.
He also made Bronson, Selleck, David Carridine, Robert Culp and others.

I hope not. Anyone else interested??? Let's get some more names on the list. We only need 2 more to reach the minimum of 16 people.

Cool, well we made it to 16 and WGP said they'd be interested, but it might not be until January. Also, said it was possible to make an arm like the one in the poster if people wanted it. So let's keep up the interest.

I guess we should decide which removable face version do we want, the one like the poster or the actual one in the film where the full face came off? Opinions?

Sean

I should clarify that WGP said they can make both a normal head and a removable face version. So, for the removable face head the choice would be which removable face, the poster version or film version?

Glad we can get a normal head version and happy to see that others are interested in a Yul!

Remember to clarify which removable face version you'd prefer- the poster version or the film version:

Hey Space Crawler! Hey gang! Thanks for inviting WGP onto the project. We have four artists on staff right now after a year of pretty much having just one artist so right now we are getting caught up on a lot of lingering interest threads of our own.

We are just wrapping up the sculpted sets on the JOHN CARPENTERS THING and just completed JUSTIFIED. By Jan/Feb will have killed off DEADWOOD and a few other projects, which we would need to finish first just because they've been out longer.

For the mask dilemma, that's a really easy solve because once we have a cast of a full normal removable faceplate we can just dremel it in half then cast that for the poster version with no new sculpting. :hi5:

Perfect and thanks!!! We'll keep checking back and I'll add names to the list as they chime in. Looking forward to it!

Maybe those interested should subscribe to the thread for future updates.

Poster version is what I'm after - that way you get the Yul likeness and the robot - and it's far more iconic to me.

Yes the arm would be amazing also I do prefer the poster version as even with half the face off you can see whom it is.
BUT! It is not film accurate as he has the line around the whole of the face and just half the face would look odd.
So basically I would prefer the whole face and arm.
