Hey guys,
This is a thread to gauge interest for a 1984 Kyle Reese sculpt. The sculpt would be done by Sculptor. The price would be $70 plus shipping. We would need at least 20 people to get this going. With all the people out there that constantly express interest in Kyle, this should be easy. Below are some recent sculpts done by Rocco (Sculptor).

Vote for one of the following:

1. Closed mouth
2. Open mouth
3. Either

I'm in for Reese. The T-800 gets all the Terminator toy love (understandably), but the human characters are just as important. I consider Reese the biggest hole in my 1/6 Terminator collection, which is also missing T1 Sarah Connor and T2 John Connor, which may happen.

Not sure what we can expect from this company. Their X-Men figures suffer in the likenesses, though overall, they aren't too bad.

Thanks for the interest. Added to the list. I'm sure the sculpt will be killer. I'm guessing it will be fairly neutral, but I hope it has a little intensity to it, a stern focused look.

This is probably what I would want. Pretty deadpan.....the intensity coming from the eyes I guess. Any other suggestions?

I think as he almost doesn't have his mouth shut for the whole movie it should be at least a bit open. Also I think that urgency characterizes his role in the movie so should have that in his face too... Personally I like the Dchung sculpt because of that. The detail and likeness could be better though.
If the face is totally neutral I might not be in for a new one.

I agree with everything you said. It was my first inclination, but the open mouth isn't always easy to execute. This picture is ideally how I would like it if it could be captured.

I posted this Biehn Ringo in the MMS238 thread because it had a very similar open mouth look.

I don't mind the open mouth look. Especially for Kyle.

I just hate when that look makes it seem like you caught the character in an awkward mid-word freeze frame. I call it "Hot Toys Batman Syndrome"
