I'm cool either way on the mouth - open or closed....
DChung Reese is very high quality clothes. Don't think you'll get custom clothes in a higher quality than this tbh - especially not for $150! (Look at the stitching, buttons, belt and working pockets). Might Look oversized to you at first but it actually isn't when you soften the fabric a bit and are aware that the coat he wears in the movie is actually quite oversized. And shoes are amazing!
I personally is quite satisfied with this clothes.
You can buy him on eBay.
I have repainted the pants and touched up the head - made him sweat a bit too.

For what it's worth Hot Toys aren't true 1/6th scale heads. Most of them would be considered too small to be accurate 1/6th scale. Good luck with your project.
Yeah this teamed up the already available Snyder-man sculpt seems like a slam dunk to me. I can't see Rainman or Iminime doing much better and it would cost over twice as much.
You are probably right about that, but when everything Terminator is Hot Toys, you want it all to be coherent.
The Sarah Connor head is just the Hot Toys T2 Sarah with new hair. I painted the face to look a little less stern. Amazing what just turning the eyebrows up does. The shoes I just customized from a pair I purchased on ebay. Just some paint and some custom Adidas decals from a member here. Clothes I commissioned including her orchid jacket, which is saved for my second Sarah. I added a lot of details like snaps, buttons, and the tie-dye effect to the henley.
Somebody else did the hair. I believe the outfit was $195 for jeans, henley top and jacket (not shown). She's great! Did you do the hair yourself? Was it costly to get the clothes done?

It's amazing how some sculpts capture the actor, but not the character (like this one) while others capture the character but not the actor (maybe the MMS238 is a good example).Snyderman's is a very well done Michael Biehn but doesn't resemble Kyle Reese in my opinion. The facial expression just doesn't match the urgency and feeling of the movie. He looks like he doesn't give a s... A mix of DChung and Snyderman heads might have done the trick...

And just a single set I assume. Great figure!Somebody else did the hair. I believe the outfit was $195 for jeans, henley top and jacket (not shown).

Well, I actually got two sets of pants and tops. Only one jacket. As soon as I can construct that unique metal grate table, I'm going to recreate the Tech Noir scene where Arnold is standing over Sarah who is seated at the table looking up at the gun pointed at her head. I actually discovered that the grating from the Terminator Salvation endos mimics the table quite well. Really want to get to that soon. And just a single set I assume. Great figure!

Yeah, the MMS136 is my favorite HT Terminator figure. I think I have six of them to cover all the little variations. Sarah is my favorite custom, very unique and difficult to bash. You pretty much have to go with this outfit since she only appears briefly in anything else.Sounds epic!
I have decided to only keep figures from T1 as that's by far my favorite. I have a T-600 that I'm trying to sell at the moment. Actually also trying to sell my MMS238 -though I just got it- and just stick to MMS136. I think it's the better of the two. ...and then I gotta get an endoskeleton when I find one for a descent price ...and maybe some day a Sarah 'like yours'.
