i took a toothpick and pryed up his belt and it just slid right in :clap

Just slid it under the HT belt. I did it thay way to keep from having to glue anything.

I used a tiny bit of mounting putty from office depot in each skull

Yep - I had to get another pouch cast. It is now painted and I will be finishing the kit to mail on Monday!
