Custom Bane from batman and Deathstroke Head sculpts

Damn. Love that Deathstroke. Trying really hard to not get into 1/6 comic characters but with the new Sideshows I may take the plunge. Then this Slade and Bane will have to go into the queue.

Couple of questions for those who used a Max Aggression body for Bane.

1. How did you get rid of their tattoos? Did you remove the paint or paint over the whole body?

2. How did you guys get the feet into some normal 1/6 boots: take the feet off, or modify them in some other way?

I painted over the tats and I cut the toys feet off, inserted pegs and connected feet.

WIP photo. Standard sized feet look small on this body. But they'll be going inside of big boots that look good IMO.

Still quite a ways to go. Not looking forward to painting this body. Stupid tattoos. And the arms are totally a different color than the chest, LOL.

The arms come off and you can replace them with another body if you dont want to paint it.... It will cost you another body though :dunno

Well thanks to Tony for the tip - Acetone takes the tattoos off lickety split. Still repainted the body though because the skin color varied between the two parts of the body and the arms.

Getting close to done, will share photos when I'm finished.

Here is my Comic Bane, all done. Open to thoughts / critiques. Now I'll have to buy a Deathstroke head from Ash and try one of those.

I kind of like doing my own thing, not terribly worried about "accuracy". So I'm using Ash's head, the upper body armor from Snake Eyes, and some Star Wars Clone leg armor. We'll see how it all turns out.

I've already bought everything, I just need to receive it and see how it all looks together. Finding leg armor proved to be quite difficult. If your is done sooner than later, I may have to pick up a set.
