Gauging interest for a Bucky Barnes - CA: The First Avenger 1/6 headsculpt by Waruna

:lol I wish I had Rescue Cap, I'd love to get a Harley for him! I can see that Bucky here is probably going to make me buy the other Caps now I'm already going to get Golden Age Cap to go with Howling Commando Bucky :rotfl

Gods, I really need to stop myself from doing that. XD Good thing I'm only buying them in sets, one Steve - one Buck, otherwise I'd be swimming in Caps here. ^^ I guess, I'd prefer the TFA Cap over the Golden Age one even though the first is a tad bit on the small side. I also like the suit better without that red line in the middle of his torso. Why they added it in the first place will forever be a mystery to me. -_- Anyway, I ordered the Harley today and I promise, I'll let Bucky ride it too. :3 Steve The Human Bullet can walk from time to time.

And I ordered the clothing set with the dog tags from OSK. The pants are too green but it's a start. I guess I'll just collect clothes from here and there until I find the most perfect for Buck.

They have a section specifically for allied forces WWII 1/6 items - sets, equipment, loose uniforms, footwear, etc. I personally didn't think some of their items were accurate for Bucky, but I was looking for HC Bucky, so you might find something for rescue Bucky there

Oh yeah, I checked them yesterday and found a few things I liked. Ordered some shoes although i'm not even sure if they'll have holes for the pegs or not. XD I'll let them surprise me. I'll probably come back and get some different pants in case the dark green ones are too dark. Or I'll just bleach them a bit ... I'll see.

Regarding the GA Cap, make sure to post some pics once you have him! I'm curious how he holds up next to AoU or CW Stevie. :3 And I feel ya, I got my civvie Stevie to go with my WS coz I also got CW Cap and Buck as set so WS was lonely. Both WS and civvie Steve are now in very good company. They're on a special shelf with Wolverine, waiting for Deadpool and Punisher to join them. :3

I definitely will post pics! I have received my CW Cap yet (local retailer, ugh) but hopefully I'll have him by the time I get GA Cap Nice!! I'd love to see a pic of your collection

Btw, is the weapon set Brainiac offered still a thing? Coz I just found the Thompson but if there's gonna be the set, there's no need for me to buy it separately. :3

Waruna's starting on the sculpt this week, so hopefully soon we'll see some WIP pics from him!

I'm also working on my prototypes for Bucky's Howling Commando outfit, so as soon as I'm happy with that I'll post some pictures too.

Well this is what I have so far. The head is just a place holder while I finish customizing the jacket from the Winter Soldier figure since they have a similar look and I have to dye the pants to a darker brown. , , , , .

Oh nice, ronin!! Where'd you get his over-the-shoulder holster from? I'd like to make all of his accessories myself but I feel like the holster is going to be more fiddly than my sanity can handle :lol And where'd you get the patch from?

Received the body today. Seems nice so far but I'll have to wait and see till I have all the clothes ... and the head. XD

My Rescue Cap is here too and he's already comfy on the Harley WLA. Can't wait to have Buck join him!

:lol Yeah it's a bit of a blank canvas at the moment! I received mine early last week! I've been using him as my mannequin for the Howling Commando outfit I'm making Which hopefully I can provide a picture of the pants for soon!
