Axe, final payment for the Interrogation scene version (with no hair extension) has already been sent. Please let me know if it's settled already. Thanks

I'm curious, how do people plan to use their HS? I plan to put mine on joker 2.0, use joker 2.0 hs on my old bank robber, and kept the bank robber 2.0 with its original hs. Ideally, would love to have a second Joker so I can pose him with the coat off and sitting on the table.. handcuffed.

If I can get another 2.0, Id display one in the mask and another with this head.

Or Id just replace my purple coat ver with this head on the DX 11 head PERS that I have currently.

Those that have received their painted ones could maybe post some more pics? Hows the paint job on these in hand?

Interesting discussion happening over on Kit Chen Facebook page. Some might want to check it out

Just took a look at it. Kit keeps saying he doesn't support recasting but he still sells recasts on his website. His argument is basically if you don't want your stuff recasted or stolen, don't steal by sculpting a head of a character to which you don't have the rights to. Which is ridiculous. No sculptors of custom heads have the license to the likeness of the character. If that's the case, no one should sculpt heads and his business, onesixthkit, will go to **** since he's got nothing to sell.

he sells AT VERY HONEST PRICES clothes too...and very well made..I spoke with him sometimes..is a good guy..
he makes clothes for children so he knows very well what are cost for the materials to use and time..
he has not recasted this head he has bought from a supplier

well I think if you don't pay for a licence a pricey head is not justified..maybe is this what he means..
if you try to think...
eleven and ace toys make heads..they are amazing, they are painted already
and the price is about $30, for which reason?

So he's an honest THIEF!

Seriously though, those who re-sell recasts are a huge part of the problem. It's not right to do that if you respect the artists. But by using the old chestnut "well the artist's shouldn't 'steal' likenesses" argument, it's clear he doesn't really care about artists at all. Guys like this will say whatever it takes to justify their making profit. What are you gonna do? Could be he's a swell guy in general, but on this issue, if you capitalize on the work of others in this way without those others' consent then it's just wrong IMO.

different pov..in my opinion the real thief is
those who take advantage of the desire of collecting...and shoot prices randomly hoping people bite..

who are unaware that the costs are much lower for them especially when you have a staff available who works for you ..
labor in China is at a very low cost

or you thought that the "artist" would begin to make heads or clothes one by one alone?

maybe you did not know

The thing is...charging $300 isn't the problem. The artist asks for this price, people who are willing to pay for this price will pay it. IT'S the people who WANT to own the head sculpt but CANNOT or doesn't want to pay at this price, they go for recasting methods. No one is taking advantage of desires of collecting, everyone collects their own things and sees value in what they believe is valuable. If the price is too high for some people for a single sculpt, don't buy it. Stay away and buy hot toys, don't buy recasts...
