Thats what i noticed as well. But again, that could be the camera's fault, since the rest of the stuff looks pretty good.

It is the camera,they look fine in hand.I think it was just the angle its on,ill take more pics.this week when I get it smaller.

This looks outstanding. I'll wait to see the finished painted project first. I bought one from MRM but it never hurts to have variety

Here it is in 1 5th scale,i have more silicone coming in wednsday so I will finish this up this week.I am doing this in steps,each step it gets a little smaller,then I cast it in wax a resculpt any imperfections in the cast from the shrinking process.I also resculpt all the fine details that might have been lost in the process.

I'm not sure, but it seems everytime you cast a head, the casted version shrinks a little bit compared to the original sculpt. Then if you cast based on the first casted version, then the second version will become even smaller than the first cast, and so on... (that's how i picture the process in my mind)... If this is the case, then this is a huge job...

The other method is wayyy too time consuming and waste of material. This is what most folks use or something similar, I'd imagine:
