Definitely I think with Kuato figure next to Quaid and the disguise mask figure will make one hell of a display! Right now my BBKill sculpt/disguise is off to a painter. [emoji4] took me a long time to locate the ugly yellow dress however I was lucky enough to find a seller and bought it from him. Probably paid twice as much as it was first sold. Well worth it.

Just a heads up on this - it is still on the go.
Sean has just finished commando and he is doing the quid head and accessories next and then he will work on kuato.
I wanted to ask all, would you prefer just a head and clothing set to try and keep costs down?
We were doing some pricing and as 3D printing costs so much, and there are various parts.. Sean is going to do the heads and kuato arms digitally, and the rest by hand.
The head, torso and kuato head and arms are looking to be around $185 unpainted, haven't got a price for the clothing yet but we have someone who isn't majorly expensive, and as the clothes aren't that fitted we can use them to try and keep costs down but keep a level of quality.
A full figure on the other hand, would be running high on the final retail price, when you factor in bodies, painting, clothing etc and I wasn't sure if it would be better to leave it up to yourselves to find painters etc in your own time so it's not such a chunk at once.
We are looking to use the base body of narrow shouldered body as they are easily obtainable and leave enough for the torso sleeve.
Comments and thoughts appreciated guys!

Personally, I'd probably prefer the full figure but, really, the main reason behind that is I always seem to have a hard time finding a (good) painter who isn't snowed under.

I'd prefer a kit as I'll be painting it myself. And I think going with the narrow body is probably the safest bet as we can all find those easily.
As for the outfit, I think it should be easy enough to bash an outfit given it's military styled. Kind of looks like the vest might be tricky, so I might be interested in just a vest, but I think the other parts should be sourcable unless there is something in his outfit I'm missing.

Just a quick update, this hasn't been forgotten about, The Matrix and Quaid heads are still yet to be wrapped up so this will be started after Christmas/start of next year if the interest is still there for the figure.
After speaking to Sean about the costs to get this all produced, the likely cost is looking to be around:
$240 for unpainted parts - due the the high 3D printing costs mainly, Sean is also going to hand sculpt the main torso/neck to bring down pricing as it would be too expensive if the torso was also 3D printed (parts include head sculpt, torso and neck section and kuato head and arms).
$150 around about for painting (quotes from Mark Simpson and Galactiboy were around the same)
$100 possibly for clothing if it was to be custom made, but if people can find their own this is not a necessity, but can be provided if needed.
If people are still wanting a full figure option it can likely be done, we would offer the parts at a price and a full figure at a price, depending on what people want.
So with that being said, if people can confirm that this is fine or not - we obviously need commitment from buyers to get this started, and without it i doubt it will move forward.
If it is not what was expected price wise, my apologies but this is the best we can do! It's not the cheapest to produce due to multiple parts, but i;m confident it will look awesome if it does go ahead

with earl doing the douglas quaid set here, thought now would be a great time to see if there's interest there for kuato from total recall.
Sdabbs will be doing the sculpt, we envisioned a full head and chest as one piece, but the workings will be figured out along with the price if the interest is there.

Well i bumped it a few months ago and there was only 4 of the original lot, so i didn't take it any further.
