They are quite bulit in the anime too I reckon, but I'm also thinking about using the HT Arnold body, since there isn't really anything with good articulation, that I can think of, more suitable.

Funny thing about SFIV. I really like it, but Ryu's 3D model didn't look that cool to me. & he's like one of my fav characters, which was a bummer. I thought Gouken looked really cool though.

The Arnold body is the right size it just lacks the muscle definition. I don't know where/how we could get anything with more definition though

Funny think about SFIV. I really like it, but Ryu's 3D model didn't look that cool to me. & he's like one of my fav characters, which was a bummer. I thought Gouken looked really cool though.

The head of Ryu especially looks bad for me. His perfectly symmetrical hair bugged me.

Right now I'm thinking about using the Arnold body, but I guess it would depend on the size of the sculpts, as to which body I'd actually use.

Yeah I don't mind if it doesn't have a fabric bandana. The look of the sculpt is priority. Simply throwing it out there

Fabric bandana would be good if it's done pretty much like that kids logic one is done and had wire in the tails so they could be posed

That body might be good actually, how much smaller are the arms than the HT Arnie one? What other bodies are available or brands that do them

I'd probably go for a non painted version maybe unless logan want's to paint them

I was kinda thinking we'd get the bandana's ourselves, seeing it's plain red fabric, & the sculptor would only have to worry about sculpting a space for it.

I think we're skipping ahead though. I'm kinda thinking Logan might simply do it all sculpted

Hey guys, thanks for the comments, a few things i should add, The reason i spoke to Krec about this and said i would be up for doing it regardless of numbers of people interested is that i intend to do some Street fighter full figure sculpts, they will be my sort of take on the characters so may not follow any particular version or look for any given character. That being said please feel free to offer oppinions and crits.
Ryu was very rough in the first pics, i have since changed quite a bit that people have mentioned like the bandana thickness and stuff. I will post some new pics tomorrow some time.
I will do them for the arnold body as that is the sort of size i will be going for in the full sculpts, ive also started looking at the lower arm and leg add ons.

Cheers Logan. Since it's not 100% based on the animated movie, then I'm going to stick with what I said here:

If it's not for a specific Ryu look (there's a few Ryu versions I like), then I might be a maybe on the interest list. I'm still happy to buy if a random Ryu turns out really cool looking
