I'll check out the kimono from Saturday Toys and add some pics to the reference folder. You've just posted a wealth of information here, thanks for taking the time to type it out and share your research. Colours always had me worried but it looks like we have pretty much all the info we need.
As for shoes... They aren't part of the outfit from Yunsil so we'll all be making our own version based on whatever scene we choose I guess (unless we can commission someone to make a run). The weapons are something we'll have to decide on if we get Fergo to make them... end battle version would probably be my pick as I'll be posing him with the knife as well like the pictures on the first page.
Wife and kids left me alone for a few hours this afternoon and I had the figure on my mind so I knocked up a quick 1/6 deba to try out the process. Working at this scale aint easy! All I had was scrap O1 tool steel and burlwood off-cuts but I might get some decent stainless steel, buffalo horn and wood to make a proper blade and handle if I get a chance.
