Very cool! What did the final cost end up w a full list?

The clothing (minus the sandals) will be between $220-$240 based on the quote from Yunsil.
The head sculpt, going by Rocco's usual prices, should land around $70 + shipping.
I went back and forth a bit with Fergo Black regarding the sword but communication fell down a little and no final quote was supplied. I'll look for an alternative quote if enough people are still interested in getting a metal sword made.

Yeah Mifune's Yojimbo is at the top of my list as well - such a cool character. Very excited that this is all happening.

One more thing - we need to decide on a body for this figure. I'll need to let Yunsil and Rocco know which body we're choosing so that the head + clothing is to scale. Mifune was around 175cm tall.

Remember the head sculpt will be neckless so we'll need to work around that.

Im thinking a clone TTM19 body with a neck and some padding added to the stomach area??

Yup definitely some padding for his gut!
Is skin tone or height of the body a major concern for people? Personally I'm not too worried about height, as long as the overall figure is in proportion to itself I don't mind too much... but I know a lot of folks display multiple figures together and it becomes a concern.

References to send Rocco - please chime in with your opinion on these, or post more images if you can find better.

Unfortunately it's hard to get a good shot. The film is mostly shot with Yojimbo at a distance and any closeups are usually of him with a mouth full of food, smirking, or showing some other emotion which doesn't really fit with the stern expression we're going for.

Looking good so far Rocco, very impressive!
There are so few pictures of him in the film showing a clear close-up shot of his face, he must be one of the hardest characters to sculpt.

I'm not sure whether his chin needs to be a little wider? and perhaps his lips a little thinner with less cupids bow?

I mocked up a wider chin (which has distorted other parts of his face, but just to get an idea of how a wider chin might look... what does everyone else think?

It's a hard one to sculpt
The whole film was shot with long lenses. Making it harder to get a read on the actual shape of the face.
Looks pretty good so far
Excited to finally get a Mifune yojimbo together
