I guess peeps see different things, I'm siding with Rory on this one, the chin was much too big and now it's much better.
 
the new sculpt looks like he gained some weight....hair needs to have more fine detail...specially the pointy side...the metal and bottle are a nice touch tho....:)
 
After a recent pm I feel I need to emphasize this point..

------Please note: My Involvement in this project is simply to run the thread and no more, I have nothing to do with WGP, I'm just a collector so any issue with payments or anything of that nature please take it up with them, It's nothing to do with me, I will keep record of who has paid but thats it (and of course I'm only going by the buyers word that they have ordered) so you see my point.-------

Theres a bit of updating to be done on page one, but it's late so I'm going to sleep
 
This is less about the likeness and more about how this will fit on the body, I personally don't like how you continue a little bit of the neck under the jawline, sadly you guys went with unnecked and it's too late to change that now :( but if we have to settle for a neckless sculpt (which sadly is very inappropriate for david)at least try and do it the best way. I've seen some of your recent sculpts (walking dead shane springs to mind) and the way the bottom of sculpt does not follow the curve of the jaw and that there is actually a sliver of a neck under it just looks really weird, I hope I'm not the only one who has a problem with this...

O and the hair looks great too!


I also agree about the way the neckless sculpts are sculpted. Look at the ttm19 sculpt and how it is cut around the jawline. Looks much more realistic when placed on a proper body. The way WGP has been sculpting them throws off that realism a bit. I would really like to see this sculpt get a neck. If it's not possible with the digital render maybe after you get the master print go in and sculpt a neck onto it then cast. Possible?

So if I pre order can I get that bottle too? ;)

I agree about the neck bit being there looking odd on the neckless heads and that will be removed, but listen, we ask for your feedback for a reason. So is this three people who want Human David with a neck? Be vocal because since it is not printed, that can be added. Because he has a mullet, the decision whether to go necked or neckless kind of threw us because the mullet inhibits movement anyways.

Do you guys want Vampire David to be necked? Because he is with Sean having just been tediously prepped ready to go to the caster and if enough of you demand it, then we can mod it on to the printed head, but speak up now!

So if I pre order can I get that bottle too? ;)

I'm happy with neckless on the sculpts as long as that extra bit at the bottom of the sculpt finishes as mentioned - which it has been confirmed it will be.

What are the options for the earing???

I also think the problem with the sculpt is the length - it seems too long now that the thickness has gone...MY VOTE STILL LIES WITH THE ORIGINAL - PERFECT IMO!!!!!!

Glad you guys take feedback so well. I believe vampire David should be necked as well. The chest and forearms aren't going to be exposed so I don't see a reason for neckless.

I thought the earring would be added after casting? Or am I delusional? :rotfl

I also agree, his face looks long and a bit fat towards the bottom. Someone with proper photoshop skills should overlay/tweek those pics to give Sean a visual idea.

Honestly, I have to say the original sculpt looked more like Keifer in the Lost Boys. If this new sculpt is the path this project is taking, I'm afraid I have to bow out.

ok, here is the original head print which I started to adjust but then abandoned - he needs detail added (beard, textures etc) I also think that these heads would be better with necks so PLEASE shout out if you want a neck/or you don't want a neck

what do YOU think if these pics? If you are happy with the physical print out (v1.2) I can continue working on this head:
