Proto set has printed and should be at my house today. I will work on mocking him up tonight if so. My printer missed shipping it out Thursday so it was held back due to the weekend. :gah:

Protos came in - Really pleased with the outcome!

Will print the mold protos about 10% larger to increase the size slightly and to accommodate resin shrinking.

Thanks - the knots will not be on the final version. I need to get a smaller bit to drill out the strap holes.

I like what I'm seeing so far! Is it possible to use a thinner "thread" though? Not sure about everyone else, but I would be fine with it not being leather.

Im pretty sure thats 0.5mm leather cord and that seems to be the thinnest leather cord you can get. But yeah, I recommend GREG uses string instead of leather and dye it dark brown. I would use 0.75mm - 1mm string(which seems to come thinner than leather cord)

I do not know what I could think of so far to have forgotten to ask you to put me on the list (for one No. 2 please, ie a raw kit)! :wave

Talk about a printer ... As I understand it, this is a resin modeling polymerized by laser to reproduce an object originally designed in a 3D software, right?

If this is the case, is it possible to reproduce an already existing object, or are we required to go through the virtual model?

In this case, I would have something to ask you if you will ... :wink1:
