Daft Punk 1/6 helmets (Simple Robot Rock look)

Ok, this is just an idea that i got after seeing so suprisingly few Daft Punk customs around. The only one i know of is the super expensive LED-version helmets/figures (which looks awesome btw! :clap).

My idea was for someone interested in this to make just the casts of the helmets, maybe offer them painted, and as such keeping the costs down. Clothes can easily be sourced on ebay either if you want to go with the leather look or the plain black suit look, there are plenty of options.

I dont have a sculptor ready, so this is as much as looking for an interested artist that it is looking for interested buyers.
Maybe if we get alot of people onboard for a list, someone will make theese?

So, who would be potentially interested?

I've been working on modifying a couple of 3D helmet models and was looking to make them available. I'm in the process of trying to make them capable of putting some basic lighting in, if people wanted to do it themselves.

Here's the base helmets prior to break down and neck addition

I was considering loading them onto Shapeways for printing in metallic or in basic plastic

Can't take credit for the modelling work, they were freely available online, but are great. I'm doing the mods to suit 1/6 needs, and as I can't afford 1k+ for a figure. I figured there might be interest from others in the same boat. I'm almost done with the mods, just playing with shell thicknesses at the moment (haven't been near my desktop since prior to Christmas). I hope to have this being test printed in basic white for size in the next couple of weeks.

I think a printed decal - with holes in on the inside of the visor with a couple of Ultra Bright LEDs in behind would look ok, but would require the visor to be printed in a translucent black material.

I've created the central 'neck' to allow wiring and to fit to a TTM neck adapter / plug.
