First Class Sculpts/Outfits: Charles, Erik, and Raven

Haha same! Honestly their civilian outfits are the best ones to go for imo. As for the flight suits, while I'm definitely keen, I'm not sure if I'd be willing enough to spend a lot of money on it since I can't see those being made perfectly without getting expensive.

Well I certainly hope the flight suits happen. Even though I prefer many X-Men film characters not in uniform, I would like unique outfits for both versions of Raven.

I'm starting to design Jean Grey's X2 outfit. Now sure how long that will take.

Just a quick, vague update--a sculptor has tentatively agreed to do these sculpts, if the flight suits can happen. I am still working on the outfits option at the moment. Will update again once there is something to update.

Same for me on the flight suits. I'm leaning towards the purple. It's a bold shade and it's eye catchy.

This project would not be for DOFP figures. As an update, the tailoring issue isn't worked out yet. Until then, the sculptor isn't starting the sculpts.

I don't want to advertise who is involved until things start moving forward in earnest, because it's up in the air. The sculptor currently on board might not have the time or interest once the suit problem is ultimately resolved (assuming the suit issue can be worked out).

So this project isn't completely dead! I was waiting to hear back from someone regarding the suits, but they aren't responding to my inquiries anymore apparently. So, I've asked someone else who is willing, but the material is a problem. In that they don't have access to it. If we can provide that material, they are willing to give it a shot. Anyone here familiar with picking up material for 1/6 scale outfits? If so, feel free to assist with this, as I've never tried it before. Here are some close-ups of the suits:

I see three distinctly different types of material--the textured yellow, the woven dark blue, and the plasticy ribbed dark blue. Each suit uses each of these a bit differently. Plus elbow and knee pads.

I found this resource of folks trying to make 1:1 scale outfits, which has a lot of links to material for sale. However, again, I have no idea how it would look in 1/6 scale, or if the material would be thin enough to be worth working with.
