Re: Interest in Classy Mutie Custom Figures--Flight Suits and Black Drapery Options

Yunsil is super slammed right now but id love to see her do flight suits.

Re: Interest in Classy Mutie Custom Figures--Flight Suits and Black Drapery Options

Yeah, but she encouraged me to order later on, so I'm hoping that means I'm in her informal queue. But it probably would be a month or two away from being greenlit.

Re: Interest in Classy Mutie Custom Figures--Flight Suits and Black Drapery Options

Do you have someone else in mind, who is good, reliable, and isn't busy with other projects? Dabbs hits likenesses out of the park, which has become my primary concern with figures, no matter how the sculpt comes to be produced. But I do also appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into hand crafted sculpts.

No, unfortunately I do not have anyone to recommend.

I am obviously more critical of Sean Dabbs work than you. He is stellar with male faces with lots of "character". Past that he is inconsistent, although he definitely hits home runs. His recent Fox Mulder was pretty weak, which really disappointed me. I know criticising artists gets dicey, and lord knows my sewing is not as good as Yunsil, kato, etc. but I really care about the X-Men.

I have an X2 Jean Grey commission lined up right now with someone, but her male sculpts can be hit or miss. Ideally I plan to use her for movie versions Rogue, Storm, Kitty Pryde, and Jubilee in time. Just FYI for any die hard X-Movie fans like me.

Also I still think wax-sculpted heads produce the best detail.

Woah, didn't know there was a jean grey sculpt available. Is it a private commission, or is there going to be a few more available for purchase?

Caine is a great sculptor Trevor would cost to much how about Troy Mcdevitt?

It will be generally available. I would never, barring extenuating circumstances, not want a commission shared with other people. I am going to do the X2 uniform myself. I cannot promise offering it, since I have no idea how time-consuming it will be.

I actually have a sculptor in mind now. I will discuss privately with Karamazov.

Re: X First Class Sculpts/Outfits: Charles, Erik, and Raven

OK, the thread has been modified a bit to account for Star Puffs' interest in Mystique, and civilian clothes for Charles and Mags, which she would tailor if it happens. So, please review the first post, and state if you would like to be moved around onto a different list or lists.

Re: Interest in X-tra Classy Custom Figures

I'm interested in all three head sculpts a maybe on the civilian clothes depends on how much they are.

I'd be interested with magneto but when he's already in his red suit with a red helmet in days of future past or 1st class. Do you offer those set?

The look from the end of First Class might be made available, but someone else might want to look into getting the cape done. I'm not looking to do Days of Future Past looks here.

put me down for civilian outfits for all 3 and makeup and NO makeup heads for mystique...you know what, at this point, masterworks might as well make them. They're good with options LOL

Re: Interest in Classy Mutie Custom Figures--Flight Suits and Black Drapery Options

The path of least resistance to nice looking figures are their civilian outfits in my view.

I could easily be talked into doing the turtleneck-jacket outfit. It might look better as a doll, even though he does not have his 'let me show you my *****in' tattoo' moment in it.

Mine, too. :) That would be awesome - it's my favorite look of his in the movie (and he had several great looks!), I just love the brown over the black, and how sleek it looks. I also think the dark colors fit the character, and that he would display better with Charles.

I generally tend to prefer long sleeves/jackets on figures so that the elbow joints are hidden. It's just a peeve of mine.

You can add me to the "Interest in Civilian Outfits for Charles and Erik" list. :wave
