Actually you are correct! I see what it is now. The Cordoroy lines are horizontal on the yolks and vertical on the rest of the shirt. Maybe she can adjust that detail. Shoulder Yolks Cordoroy horizontal; Sleeves, chest and back vertical.

as can be I guess...
I still think the corduroy looks quite bulky - specifically on the shoulders / seams.
And the pants definitely need the crease.
all around though I think I'm going to cave and invest in this set.

All futzing and water treating when it comes to making 1:6 corduroy look good.
 
Yup case closed. It's a scale thing. Pinwale is very thin corduroy almost invisible from a distince. It would be impossible to make that Corduroy at 1/6 any thinner. The sleeves could use some shortening though and maybe add the pants crease as well.
