so now people are up in arms because others want a 2nd run now of this clothing set for a character that was done before and argued about when THIS set itself was first offered?!?!....do you guys not see the irony in that?!?!?!...HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA....wow...this is actually hilarious...who cares if its someone new asking to see if this could be made...the point is that some want to push something they feel is an unspoken rule...to what end...I can only speculate...me...i'm thinking from the POV that you should not stop someone else (aka an artist) from living or eating or selling their own products because you would "feel" a certain way specially in an environment where all this is irrelevant.

Yunsil made original v1, and iris made a take on it as well - not the same artist making the same outfit. that is what is in question here.. niether have revisted them, and imo shouldnt revisit them., its common sense.

I want a Richard Harrow Yunsil set. Or a Jimmy darmody, or a Doc holliday with red vest, scarf etc...... 2nd run here we come!!!
Oh, but only one guy commissioned it so it should be okay right? no problem getting her to do it - and dont worry about asking the guy who commissioned the thing - its up to Yunsil., right? Who cares that he coordinated, paid, and got her to do it as a piece for him,. if we can get enough interest down, we can all have it, right?!?!
wrong again. Some people just dont get this hobby, and totally are missing out on the "thrill" of finding that grail set they want - and dont understand that if you commission a run by an artist, you do hold artistic merit over decisions on how it is being released or sold and how often.

Yunsil I'm sure would love to r-release all of her outfits. More money for her and her team, right? it is out of RESPECT and admiration for this hobby and the artists in it that she doesnt.

Should I start a Yunsil and Iris second run thread? that way we can get them to re-do ALL the projects!!! great!

Not trying to create any frustration or fights. I get called geek, nerd and retard for collecting stuff like this so fighting in here is not what i want because it happens outside of this group with those who don't get into this stuff lol. So i consider everyone in here a better community than the ones i deal with outside of this hobby. Let's just respect Axe and his run and when he returns to see if he wants to do another run.

So to get Yunsil to rerelease an anton set - i guess we just need to ask her. It has nothing to do with Rainman coordinating it right? Her information is out there so its up to her, Lee has no say... right?

Wrong. Project coordinators have artistic merit to the projects they organize. I realize you are relatively new to the forums but u cant just go around getting in touch with artists convincing them to do more of something that was openly offered as set LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. Ive wanted countless sets in the past that i missed out on. Dont u get it? I didnt gather random ppl here n there to get another run going lol - I had to track it down if I wanted it. There are unspoken rules and common sense in this hobby, lets just say when yunsil re-released wonka via another artist - rainman flipped and so did the majority of his fans. Nothing to do with elitism. It has to do with professionalism.

I guess you can also take the Nuckey Thompson thread and mix it in there because technically...the same argument can be said about that....oh right...different patterns....made by the same seamstress...guess its a valid set that can be sold now....I mean...if that's the stance you want to have...cause...its common sense...right...LOL

and as far as the guy commissioning it...whether he clears it or not....should he stop her from offering something similar and different at the same time...maybe a different colored suit...NO...I don't understand why people and their "thrill" should be subject to only having that thrill to themselves....I have been in this hobby a lot longer then you and have always seen this particular side (ugly side) so please....although I don't know how you meant to write but "Some people just dont get this hobby"....it sounds patronizing when you tell me that I or we don't get something when in fact I do...and would therefore like for it to be a win win for me and the person selling....so again...tell me what it is that YOU don't get about that...?

I have no real say whether it gets done or not. That truly is up to Axe, and Iris.

If it DOES get done - It better come out looking IDENTICAL in every way. if it is updated, the original buyers and supporters of the project who made it possible are the ones getting screwed. In less than a year an updated one is relased? gtfo. I know u all can easily appreciate that.

I'm not trying to come across as harsh or rude, Im truly speaking from the heart of an artist here. I just respect peoples commissions and truly believe it is up to them.

On a brighter note Phine1 excellent work with the camera mate...take shots of your figures pretty well lol

The Nucky set was cleared with the original commissioner who even bought one for himself. If he would've said no that run would not of happened. Just to clarify that

When I want a clothing set that is sold out, I go and track it down to find it. I dont struggle to gather interest to re-release it. lol.
If we just get everything we ask for no matter what the context, it truly does take a major part of the thrill of finding parts or rare pieces out of the hobby.
How boring.

Can we get this again please? sure, no problem, here it is.

I think you are thinking this is about elitism or rareness. This set was OPEN ENDED. there are most likely around 60-80 of these out there.
put a WTB like everyone else and wait for ur chance to get it. again, should i start a Yunsil re-release thread?
since it doesnt matter about rarity, artistic merit, or anything else. as long as enough people want it, it should be done no questions asked... .right?

Thank you man! Sorry I truly mean absolutely no disrespect here. I am just thinking out loud what i think majority of original investors are thinking or worrying about. :peace:peace

I do agreed that re-hashing old long closed projects is potentially problematic.

This ^

I paid more aftermarket for the new Yunsil Doc and new Yunsil Plainview, I would loved to have just gotten a second run done. If this really happens, I think a lot of people, myself included aren't going to pay upfront and be on these clothing runs if we know we can just get enough people cry and scream to get it re-done and potentially improved.

I'm surprised this conversation has gone on so long, sorry have't followed the whole thread but what has axe said on this? Ultimately it's his call

so phine1....if some group offered you say....10,000 in total for another run of overlook caretaker sets after you closed the first set off....and specifically asked to have DX items...you would say no to this because you would feel obligated to the first run folk?...that's an amazing sacrifice if you are making brother....

I will never, ever offer the 237 set ever again.

not for 50,000 $.

$ is one thing, artistic integrity is worth more than any amount of money.

I'm not speaking for him but we have had this conversation and I'm almost surely he would not. This hobby is prized on its small runs and numbered editions, the limited aspect of it.

Cool...now would you be mad if someone else offered it up and didn't get your approval?

I dont think you are getting it.
Geewhiz offers Bills clothing set whenever you want it.
we are not arguing about different artists doing different sets.

it is about the SAME artist, doing the SAME set.

No one would be able to release my set because I made it. they are my files and my work put into it. If they want to offer a set up, they have to make it all from scratch and put it together. it would be a totally different offering.

lol offered up what? His work? That he has the 3d print files for? You can't just "offer" work like this

oh no I get this part...I was playing a little devil's advocate by bringing the argument some made with the Butcher outfits and the yunsil outfits way back when...good catch...:)...i'm just ribbing now...bored at work...:-/
