oh no I get this part...I was playing a little devil's advocate by bringing the argument some made with the Butcher outfits and the yunsil outfits way back when...good catch......i'm just ribbing now...bored at work...:-/

haha! This argument is all in good intentions, In no way am i singling ppl out to argue or disagree with them for any personal reasons. Just sharing what I think is important part of this hobby and how I feel about certain things being touched on that maybe shouldn't be touched on.

My 237 set was an open ordering window (although there was a maximum on DXX sets due to work load). Anyone who wanted my set could get it, especially the regular edition which was open ended completely during order window.

But I will never offer it again. even if ppl ask - cause it would be unfair to original buyers and supporters.
I guess that attitude is where I'm coming from.

I get what you're saying but my basic POV is....important to whom....?....the buyer or the seller....in no way do I think i'm wealthy or poor...but I know that my assumptions are when someone is making dolls clothing for a living....and i'm buying dolls clothing for fun...

First of all let me say i asked first if anybody would have problems with a second run. So there might be a lot... so i`m out off this.

But let me at least tell my thoughts on this without trying to blame someone, like some guys did here.

A major part of collecting for me is to share my experience, pictures, etc. this with other guys on facebook, in the forum and so on. I guess that's even a part why we are on this forum. If i would just collect for my own without the internet, it would only be half of the fun i guess.

The second thing is supporting the artist. If someone like Iris or other talented guys here is doing some cool stuff, then buy it. But where is the problem in buying the same item later on (for example if you missed the outcome or you don't had the money on that time), if it wasn't declared as a limited run? That doesn't support the artist and may sometimes result in recasts and stuff from other guys.

So if you guys block this out, you working aginst my two points.

There might be some reasons for you for blocking this.

Has nothing to do with value or competing with each other or limitability. Also, on that note, this was a limited run - anyone who wanted one could get one then the order window closed and it was over. Time limited.

It has to do with morals and respect. This isnt at all competing. Im not selling this set its not about that, and for those who bought this set already im sure its not about that with them either. The set was done, let it be and find another artist to attempt a new one if you really want another bill outfit. seriously.

I am not saying you are directly or intentionally being disrespectful.
But however I do think that coming into a thread late in the game, seeing the product and wanting it, and just expecting to take over a new run of a previously limited order window outfits is not ok. It's like asking Mondo, for instance, to make 10 more posters of a sold out limited order window print that u just so happen to like, and want, and feel u deserve to have even though it's long gone. They would never do it because it is unfair to the original buyers.

I also read back and saw the list forming, and people asking Vlad to contact IRIS by himself to do the run. I just do not get it.

You asked people to voice their concerns, and you have heard them.
Majority probably feel this way but just arent chiming in.
Wish Axe was here to just close the thread and let it rest in peace for the artwork that it is.

It was extremely difficult to sway people and Iris to make the initial outfits first run. There was similar outburst, anger and outrage when this set was first created. People that owned RM Butcher didn't even want this done .

The butcher is overrated anyhow lets get a Downton Abbey thread going ! Those blokes are extremely smart looking.

There was a limited time u could get this. Orders were not accepted past that point.
If it was unlimited wouldnt u be able to get one right now?

When you sent a deposit Iris personally emailed you with a date you needed to pay after that date she stopped taking orders

I would have had another set if it was done, but fully understand why it can't. All makes sense when reading back.

realistically if it is done or not it doesnt affect me - I have the set already - but I do in fact worry about alterations, quality difference, materials used etc. if it comes out different or optimized in certain areas i would be furious. $300 down the drain in less than a year when I could have just waited for a better one.
WTB threads and ebay search saves go a long way. Most times you can find what you're looking for if you exercise patience and set out for the hunt, then make the kill.

Do not let my opinion decide this though. I'm just one of approx. 60 people who bought this. I know a few ppl have chimed in and thats great, more ppl should express how they truly feel -
