Guys,

Our tailor is actually capable also to create Indi's whip hahaha
I'm talking with him, he's quite interested of doing a proto first.., he actually done a custom 1/4 whip before for catwoman.
Do you guys have any references pics for Indi's whip that I can gathered, and send to the tailor??

This is sample of his past works on whip, so this whip will be full real leather too.. if he end up succeed on doing it.

A new WHIP is desperately needed. But that won't be easy. Don't think it can actually be woven at 1/6th scale, at least I've never seen one done like that that didn't look oversized and lumpy and rough. Those Joe Strain whips are beautiful but overscaled. Mfisher's whips have always been the best so far. The whip needs to be, ironically for Indy, as smooth and scaled as a snake.

You want to really change the game, Jagzz...? Create a real material Indy Fedora. That has never been done.

Anyway, here's a quick ref. Doesn't show scale in hand very well though. Finding a pic from the movie of the full length I believe is impossible, but I can email more to that will be helpful...

I actually own a Strain whip and imo it is in perfect 1:6 scale. Best whip you could have for a 1:6 scale Indy figure. Perhaps the focus should just be on the jacket at the moment to ensure it meets the specifications everyone is after unless the tailor believes he/she can take on that heavy of a work load.

I agree.

Also, those whip photos above are good to see the entire whip and its construction... just adding that the Raiders whip, despite that one publicity shot, was a darker color and not so light golden tan. The color value is similar between the bag strap, holster and whip -- they all have this golden brown/hint of red quality. Again, you have to watch the movie to see the true whip color. It is tricky to get just right.

Whilst I would love an accurate whip or Fedora I too agree, lets focus on getting the jacket done first

Thanks Luis.. this really helps man.. will email this to the tailor ahahhaa...
No problem bro. Though like everyone I agree with their statements the tailor should focus on finishing the Jackets first and the Shirt and pants later so we can get the most accurate clothing set.

Don't worry the focus will be definitely on the jacket, and this guy have a team.. so it should be okay.
He's interested of doing it, and request some photo to see if it's possible to create it using the current leather material..
I've never said that this whip proto will come right away, probably he will do this after the clothing set.. anyway there's no harm of discussing and collecting references first.

Jacket is pretty much done man, he got all the feedbacks and he can revise everything on it.. so don't worry I will not lose priority on the jacket.
This basically only gathering some references and talk about it.. something that we can discuss while waiting on the jacket.

That works fine for me. There is some other images of the whip but each one has a different color from raiders but it definitely is tan in color with some weathering. Watch the film you will see.

Shape is the most important part, color we can dye.

Yeah it's near impossible imo to get a real leather whip in the proper scale and can move like one of Mfisher's whips. Let's hope we need a good 1/6th whip for our Indys. Lol also do you think the tailor would be open to making the holster? I already have a good one by raven eye but the more the merrier. Lol
