No Luis, the buckle is black or gunmetal in Raiders. Not silver. Please see post #478 -- everything you never wanted to know about Indy's Raiders jacket.

I think it's dark gun metal color.. it's not black.. but it's not as shiny as gunmetal color too.. so probably between that range of color.

I’ve just been laying back and digesting all this info here, but I just wanted to give a huge public thanks to Wor- Gar and Jaggz for their work and attention to detail on this. It’s really spectacular, I’m along for the ride on anything you guys are involved with!!

Guys,

Just notice something this will be added on the revision list.. is the inner fabric color.. it should be darker at least the same color like the jacket.. the one on the proto is too bright.. and it felt really weird once you noticed it.

If you can ask the tailor to find the lining in a darker shade that would be great I guess these are good images of the inner color or at least what I could find. It could also be sweat and that's what is making it dark.

Hi all, I have a question about the jacket length, the jacket length in the proto photo now is the same as the photo below, but as you see, his shoulder is not balanced, so it makes the jacket length on one side is longer than another side, so should be a bit shorter on the length? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Looking at those pictures, I’m already in love. The attention to details you guys have is amazing and just want to applaud everyone involved. I think the hunt for the perfect 1/6 Indy coat is ending with this run and I’m just glad to be a part of it.

Yes, I'm thinking of sorting the length about 0.7cm.. because the back jacket should be in the mid of ford's ass.. hahaha, right now it covered all the way, so yeah it's definitely something that I will address.

As promised, here's a photo of my Iris jacket on the right side. The pattern of the pleat is correct, the only thing wrong with it is the back panel isn't wide enough (it should go from sleeve seam to sleeve seam fully across the back, our current proto has this bit correct).

Cool Misterscruff. Can you take the closest matching Jagzz photo and do a side-by-side comparison to point out exactly what is different or what should be changed?

I know jagzz's jacket is too long, not sure if that's what is throwing this off, but when that is being fixed perhaps this can be addressed too.

EDIT: Great, jagzz just gave it to you.

That will be great!!! Thanks!! so exciting to see the final out come!!

Thanks for the extra photo Jagzz! I've put it next to the photo of Ford for comparison.

I agree that the jacket is a bit too long.

A is the pleat. It should be one panel. On the proto the panel looks like it is only half what it should be, but all it needs is the be moved out further towards the right hand dashed line. It needs to almost line up with the edge of the back panel when the pleat is closed. I also think the pleat is too deep. on the real jacket it's 3.2cm, so in 1/6th it should be 5.3mm deep (C) on each side. Could you measure how deep the proto is at C please Jagzz? Considering the jacket is going to be shortened a little, that in turn would move the side strap up, but as things stand it still needs to be moved up slightly. B is where the back panel should be stitched to close the pleat up. It looks like it's just left open on the proto.

I've photoshopped my pic of the Iris jacket. The original pic is on the left, photoshopped in the centre and the pic of Ford on the right. All I did was move the back panel out to meet the sleeve seam at the shoulder. I hope that helps a bit too to show what I mean with the proto we have so far.

I think I see what you mean.

The tailor actually got the side strap position correct -- leveled mid-pocket just below the flap tip -- so once the jacket is shortened and pockets moved to their correct positions that strap will have to be corrected of course but aligned with that pocket in the same way and it should hit your B mark perfectly. (for example, Iris has it too high)
