Damn the jacket looks better than my Tom Ford Leather Bomber !

The only question I have is does it look a bit glossy ? I think as far as cutting and even the way the leather look will not be beat easily by anyone for some time!

Does both Sleeves look a bit long? I’m no Indy expert unlike you guys so I will defer accuracy and glossiness to the experts!

I got the remaining amount right after the deadline! ? jagzz if I can still get in let me know!

IN-CROY-ABLA!!!!

That's French! :)

I am so excited about this jacket. Finally, a jacket that has the level of attention to detail that is reserved for only sculpts. I have passed on my notes to jagzz. I think for me the biggest issue may be the smallish pockets. I think they need to be moved closer to the jacket edge (left pocket to the zipper stitch line) and just scaled up a bit.

I've also made a quick comparison just to show the length. The picture is also good to see the pocket size and placement. Its hard to find a photo of full Indy standing straight without some hunch.

I sent a lot more to jagzz but this one is the best.

Essentially my quick-notes are:
1. enlarge pocket slightly
2. move pockets closer in
3. use metal buckles for the straps if possible (black or gunmetal)
4. smaller zipper if possible, and if not perhaps pull back the teeth further under the jacket edge to hide a bit more.

These notes do not discount the other observations people have posted.
Awesome man!, I definitely agree with all the feedbacks!, let’s get the production piece even better from the proto.

Btw regarding the collar flaps, when I’m seeing this photo.. it’s actually quite big, so the question is.. should we still make the collar size smaller??

It’s definitely not glossy.. some of the pics maybe look like glossy but I think it’s because I use a very direct lighting to show all the details.

And the sleeves length is perfect man.

Btw the material is so soft and so thin.. really amazing on hand.

From what I understand, here are the measurements of the original jacket, they just need scaling down (like the pocket dimensions I posted earlier).

Storm Flap- 1.5 inches (3.8cm) width; ROUNDED top corner.

Collar- 2.75 inches (7cm)on the tips, tapering down to 2.5 inches (6.4cm). The left collar should also extend to the midway point of the top of the storm flap, or .75 inches (1.9cm) from the edge of the flap.

Can you help to share this in like pictures?, with the measurement of each, it will be easier for me to understand it.

These pictures of the Proto are incredible! Jagzz thanks so much for organising this run, we are all so lucky to be on it. Thanks also to all the Indy experts who are contributing such accurate suggestions to make this jacket the closest we can. The length, material and drape are all fantastic. This tailor is a real gem.

A pleasure brother, hopefully this will end up as the most accurate jacket in 1/6 form! ☺️

OK, here goes for the collar.

2870589580_0b6c18e7a3_o.jpg

A is the width of the storm flap, so 1.5 inches wide.
B is the length of the collar at the tips, so 2.75 inches.
C is the length of the collar at the back of the neck (centre), so 2.5 inches
D is the distance along the top of the storm flap where the collar should start on that left side, so it should be set back 0.75 inches from the edge of the storm flap. The top of the storm flap is rounded along this corner edge.

I hope that helps.

The left pocket:

A is the distance between the pocket and storm flap, so 1 inch.
B is the distance between the bottom of the pocket and the bottom of the jacket, so 2 inches.
C is the width of the pocket, so 6.25 inches
D is the length of the pocket, so 7.5 inches (including the flap)
E is the length of the pocket flap at it's widest, so 2.75 inches in the middle.

Flaps looks okay, right??

It's difficult to tell...can you take a pic with the arm up like this one?

I've shaded the area which isn't jacket so you can see how far it reaches.

The dotted line outlines the pleat, and it looks to me like it could be stitched (at A), as if it were just held by the strap it wouldn't come to such a sharp point. What does everyone else think about that?
