NECA 1/4 scale Danny Devito mobile umbrella

IOBased on a suggestion I am gauging interest for a 1/4 scale NECA '89 Devito mobile umbrella as pictured. I will be playing around with a prototype immediately and will post pictures as I go. No ideas on cost yet but I'll update here when I have a better idea!

Cool As good as this figure is, it needs the umbrella imo. If you can pull this off, it will look epic :yess:

Whoa, good response so far! I will keep you guys updated, and probably will start a list soon. Went and got some supplies tonight, will have at least a little to show relatively soon!

Alright a little update straight away.... A little work done on the umbrella shaft and handle. Also started all the dangly toys from the canopy tips...man, there are eight of those!

More or less done with the dangly toys... Although there is an eighth one that isn't in the picture...I'll try and figure out what it is. Will work on the canopy tomorrow...hopefully you guys are happy with the progress!

As the person who suggested it in the first place, and linked the image used above, I'M definitely interested as well, depending on how much the cost will be. It'd be a DREAM to be able to pose this monster with his most iconic umbrella (in my eyes, anyway). I imagined that the little toys dangling off it would prove to be the greatest challenge in translating it to toy form. (Will you be painting them to match?) It's looking GREAT so far!

I was planning on painting them, yes... I hope the translation to toy form has been up to snuff so farray:.

Only issue I'm concerned about is cost... Hoping to not let things get out of control. Supplies so far aren't bad, really, it's just time. However it always takes longer to figure everything out. Once I have what I need down hopefully reproduction isn't as tough.

By the way, I'm located in the US and I have never really shipped internationally. If some of you guys are overseas I'd need a little guidance on what to do...and im sure tell also affect cost a fair bit.
