Looks so cool buddy , really nice work :)
Thanks! Only thing I am hoping to get a little more accurate is the shape of the umbrella. I need to get a little more "droop" to it, but that's tough with it being made out of plastic.

Don't have all the right paint colors so I can only work on some of the toys, but I'll make it to the store for the rest soon. Excited to see it all together soon!

Big update.... Almost done! Just have to do the handle and it's done. Hope you guys like it and are still interested. Will get the official list going with cost soon. Each umbrella is a time consuming endeavor, but it's been worth it!

It really does look cool. The ONLY thing that I have any issue with is that it doesn't quite have the curved, Burton-y look to it. But I think that's to be expected since you're using plastic. Still, I'm REALLY impressed with what you were able to do here, especially in the amount of time.

I agree with you 100%! Since this isn't final and is really just the prototype, I still plan on trying a few things to get the more curved look. I hope if it isn't successful that it isn't a deal breaker for anyone.

Looks awesome bro. Wouldnt be a deal breaker for me at all. Im not sure how you can achieve the curve .... id b more thyan happy with this :)

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I'm on a short hiatus from this project as I finish my annual pumpkin carving. I have some ideas to try and get a better curve and I'll be working more after the Halloween holiday. For now enjoy my partially finished carving!

Hey guys, just a a quick update. I have something in the works to try and get a better shape for the umbrella. I know it looks decent right now but I feel I can get it that much better with what I am thinking.

October is always a busy month for me, and the holidays coming up doesn't help, but I'm still working on it! I hope you guys are cool with that, but rest assured I am trying to make sure I move along with it as soon as possible.

Ok so results are promising with my idea! I decided to try and use spandex cloth. It stretches over the wire frame naturally, which means I can simply shape the wiring to get the rounded umbrella shape and then just stretch the fabric over that. My cloth cutting is a little rough and the umbrella shape isn't perfect but this was just proof of concept, getting measurements, etc.

So what do you guys think?

Little bit of adjustment.... I think this is going to work! I already know how I'm going to get the red color, so it'll just be a matter of time until I have something finished to show off!
