I'm trying to figure out a cost still... The issue is the figure itself isn't high end in price, but producing the umbrella is a bit time consuming, especially the mobile one. So I'm trying to come up with a fair cost but that reflects the work and materials needed. And yes, I figure folks could pick between the three, since producing the other versions is easier than the mobile one!

Hey guys, I just ordered some black fabric paint to do a spiral protoype. I am going to try and get the silver/grey spandex in the next couple of days and paint one up. I should pretty shortly, then, be able to show off the various "models" with some prices and hopefully I can get these out to you guys!
P.S. did the emergence of the spiral umbrella sabatoge the interest for the mobile umbrella? Or are people still digging it? Only a few of you guys are regularly responding so maybe I'll get the interest going again once I have final prototypes to show with prices, but I just thought I'd ask. I worked long and hard on the mobile umbrella and I hope there are still folks out there interested!

Haha, awesome! I am hoping to have a spiral one painted by Wednesday (off work that day) but the paint doesn't come until Wednesday so it depends on what time I get it in.

Yea the mobile one is awesome and you did a great job with it. Will be keen to see the spiral. Any ideas how you will tackle it ? Im wondering if you made a stencil weather that would help...?

Depending on the price, I'm way more interested in the mobile umbrella than the spiral.
Alright guys, always like to keep things updated. Have a few supplies coming in soon so I can mold the umbrella handle and get it painted. Once the umbrella handle is final the prototype is done for the mobile umbrella! I also have supplies coming in to work on the spiral...it was way harder to do that that then I was anticipating so it may be a bit before I have one to show off, especially with the holiday fast approaching. I will keep things updated, though, including a price, once I am finished.

Just got in my silicone for molding the umbrella handle. Decided to play around a bit late tonight with the spiral pattern...

Hmm...I will try to fix the video. And yeah I know I need to extend the black a bit more to the edges. I did this last night at like midnight just to get an idea of how it looked.
