Re: [robbiethepainter] 1/6 ANH Han Solo Blaster Rig *SEND DEPOSITS*
Without trying to make this too difficult, I have a few questions. . .
Can we see a pic of the finished blaster? Also, curious about what material it's made out of. I know most stuff is resin, so I'd be a bit concerned about breakage in the trigger area, fitting it into the hands.
And also, how is the rig fastened together? Is it adjustable so we can set it lower around the waist if this HT body is a bit thicker around that area? I'd imagine it wouldn't be an issue, but the concern was raised that the HT blaster and comm might not fit in this rig, so I suppose that raises the possibility that the rig may not fit on HT's body. It looks like this may be a new body from HT, so I'm just trying to plan ahead.
Lastly, if people can't pay now, would it be wiser to delay this project until after the HT Han arrives? So, the rig could be sized to the HT stuff? And maybe people could see for themselves, that HT's rig is not that great? And it could put a bit of pressure on those folks to upgrade? I mean, my Bespin Luke rig has split from the backing, and the magnets have come off, so I get it, I would prefer a nicely weathered, leather rig from Robbie.
This is less of a concern of mine, but I'm just speaking up, if a bunch of people don't pay, I don't want the price to go up. Just, y'know, the Pulp Fiction briefcase was timed for the Rainman figures, so that demand was there, folks already had their Lector, so they wanted a gurney.
But now, I would imagine the Space Smuggler project might be kiboshed due to recent licensing issues and HT's reveal. So, that demand might not be there on this project at this time. At the same time, I understand that Robbie has cleared the schedule to make these now, and I don't want to be the one throwing the monkey wrench in it, but there are extenuating circumstances. I just wanted to throw that thought out there.
