Re: [robbiethepainter] 1/6 ANH Han Solo Blaster Rig *SEND DEPOSITS*

Quick answers to some questions.
The belt isn't able to be adjusted. Nothing I can think of that would work in this scale with the limits brought on by the design of the original.
The connector for the waist belt is hook shape like the original. Its a strong connection but does require the belt to be wrapped around the body to keep it secure.
The blaster is being tweaked becuase the digital model was missing a couple of features. I can post pics when I get time to make the corrections. All of the blasters and coms will be printed not cast. The details and layout make for a difficult mold and the print cost is low enough for me just to have all of them printed. The material is strong with more give then resin so it should hold up better but there are small details that can break so care must be taken. I would rather have a detailed piece that is fragile than a simplified version that is strong.
The holster and leg straps have magnet closers.
The com will also have a magnet to assist keeping it in place.

Re: [robbiethepainter] 1/6 ANH Han Solo Blaster Rig *SEND DEPOSITS*

Hey guys, I'm putting a due date of 10/20 on the deposits. I think that should give everyone that's still interested enough time to come up with $50. If it's not enough time for whatever reason, just let me know!

Just a reminder that the deadline for deposits is 10/20. Feel free to contact me if you need a little more time for any reason. Thanks, guys!

Hoping to have the com done by tonight. Here is the progress.

how's progress on this?

I am waiting on my laser cutter to arrive which should be this week before I start cutting leather.
I have the COM almost done, and will be sending it to the printer this week.
I still need to make the small additions to the Blaster but I havent had the time.
I think I have an idea that will make the belt adjustable for future figures too.
