Great news! I would go with the motorcowboy version with the shiny metallic/chainmail toe because it can always be weather if need be.

I would actually prefer the dull, weathered look :monkey3 I'll start making notes next to the names on the list who share their preference.

And so everyone knows, there are quite a few moving parts in the making of these boots, so Chad is still working out the minimum interest requirement and final price.

I agree with this, easier to dull down if need be.

That said, I'm happy either way as I don't even remember seeing that symbol in the movie so I'll let others make the choice.

I don't think the McFarlane Neo figure was the best reference photo for what he was describing. The insignia and toe detail will still be there, just less gaudy and prevalent But hey, I plan on polling opinions here so the majority rules. :duff

You can see the symbol but it is much darker and less distracting during the scene. WITH THAT: Do we want to try to do the motorcowboy version with the shiny metallic/chainmail toe and symbol or dull it down a bit and go more grey/black for those areas of the boot?

That was my thought as well. I definitely want the details to be there and visible, just not brand new and shiny. :exactly: I put your preference as "shiny" Wor-Gar, just let me know if you'd like it changed.

I too would prefer the more understated look of the boots. When the A logo and the toe section shine they stand out a bit too much for me.

maybe a dark boltgun metal colour would be cool over a shiny silver or something? Either way, this is awesome, thanks sithlord!
