I'm glad so many folks are interested in this since I personally want a Grant to go with my Malcolm custom.
I'm glad Mudblood came to me with this project and I hope I do it justice.
I didn't see him post this yet, but here's where the sculpt is after my second sitting. It's still a WIP, so I still have lots more refinement to do.

To answer some questions, I will be sculpting his hat and Raptor claw.

Face is looking great, but the forehead looks a little bulbous and big compared to the rest, could use a little slimming down.

I sort of noticed that too, especially in the first photo, but could that just be the angle?

Well, it actually looks like he went with this photo, which would make it JP3. With the hat on, it wouldn't make that much difference, but I could see how you would want the clean comb over without it.

My guess is Vash will literally halve the top portion of the head off to accommodate the hat. I just don't see a way for a sculpted hat to fit properly any other way. So maybe the hair is mute for those going with hatted look.

Keep in mind that it's still a WIP. I don't know what look he's going for, but the hair might just be there to give you an idea of the sculpt overall.

Thanks guys for the compliments!
As I mentioned, the last update picture was only my second sitting with the sculpt so I will be making plenty more changes and honing the look a bit more.
Mudblood got it right that the hair at the moment is just there so I could get an overall look and gauge the likeness.
However, for those who have shown interest and are on the list, I'd love to hear and see pics of any suggestions as for what you would like to see both with and without hat.
After all, you guys will be the ones that will potentially own a cast of this, so I'd like to make sure the majority agree and are happy with the final outcome.
And yes, I am planning on doing both versions, with and without hat, so I will be adjusting the hair when I work on the version with the hat.
I may have some time to sculpt tomorrow, so the sooner we can agree on the final look the better since it would be best to try to get as close as possible to a specific reference picture or a combination of pictures.
Looking forward to what you guys come up with
