Hey Vash, I had a thought...

Could you sculpt a broken-open dinosaur EGG? Like the one Grant finds below that tree?

I was trying to think of accessories for Grant and all I came up with is a red flare (LED would be nice) and a broken dino egg.

I had the same idea with the egg. At first I was thinking the hatching egg from the beginning, but the already hatched egg would be way easier. That would be a cool thing to have him hold or to put at his feet.
The only other accessory would be a triceratops for him to lay on. :lol

I'll think about doing the eggs, but I'm pretty sure anyone can do those fairly easily. I did, however, work on the sign that will be going with my personal display. I had to mix and match fonts, but I think I got pretty close. I also digitized the hand symbol from screen caps.
Ignore the crappy fence, it's just a quick mock-up to see what I need for the final fence set up.

Grant is coming along well with a slightly new hairstyle. I'll shoot some pics once I find the charger for my camera.

Love the sign! And news of new pics and new hairstyle! :clap

No worries on the eggs, just a thought. Maybe your time is better spent on a 1/6th Raptor to go with Grant. :D

Still lots more work and refining to do, but I figured I haven't shown this side yet, so here's a quick pic:

Re: Dr. Alan Grant Headsculpt- WIP Added

A little bit of help for anyone trying to put together an outfit. I found most everything I need in the Virtual Toys Weapon Advisor (Morgan Freeman) figure. The blue shirt is probably Chambray which simulates denim well in 1/6 scale. It is just about the right color though it only has one pocket. I bought a second shirt to make the additional pocket and flaps. The pants are also pretty close in color, but both the shirt and pants will receive a soaking in a Clorox solution to achieve the best match. Even the shoes are a work boot that is suitable with a quick color change. You have to think outside the box a bit when you can't find exact matches. Here are some pictures of the items as they are now. I can post more pictures when I get them and do the mods.

Funny enough, those are the pants I have for Grant. I also have the shirt, but it's for Owen from Jurassic World.

Awesome for sharing guys!
I think I'm pretty close to final smoothing and detailing. I'll post more pics as soon as I get another sitting with the sculpt.

*Updated the pic. I did a quick shot of primer on this to see what I needed to improve and adjust. I'll be getting back to sculpting later this week, so I'll keep you guys updated.

It keeps getting better and better! I love the new hair and texture!

Here are my mostly unfutzed bashes. Grant is on an emulated body (knockoff TTM19), a bandana that I made myself, Wild Toys shirt, VTS Advisor khakis, and boots from Monkey Depot. Watch (yes, inaccurate) is a custom I had made for Wolverine. The shirt has Velcro instead of snap fasteners, which I might change later on. I can get everything to lay better with more time with it. I put everything together last night when the body came in but I didn't futz much.

Owen is on a Bane body, VTS Advisor shirt, unknown pants, boots and watch from Monkey Depot. The waist is too big for the pants to close properly. Does anyone know how to fix that? I need to tuck his shirt in, but the Velcro fly won't close. I have a leather vest being made for him as well.

Malcolm is on an emulated body, modded ZY Toys shirt, Tony Stark Jeans, DAM Memories jacket, Nathan Drake necklace (inaccurate), and boots from Toy Anxiety.
