We definitely need to keep the thread alive. Honestly, I can't think of too many more figures I'd like to see. I know I'm pretty alone on some of these, but I'd like to see Butch and Sundance, Johnny Ringo, Seinfeld, Archie Bunker, Al Bundy, a few musicians, and The Duke! I'm not a fan of any current characters, they have to stand the test of time. Westerns and western characters are number 1 for me. Too many younger collectors don't have the appreciation for a character from before their time. 20 variations of Iron Man gets them all excited, but one of the greatest actors of all-time doesn't interest them.

You would think the rest of the Tombstone cast would be in the works, but who knows man :slap I missed out on all of them anyways, so no big deal. Love the movie, but don't need to spend the cash to own them all.

The Duke though.......now that is a man in need of high end 1/6 treatment. Rio Bravo, The Searchers, True Grit, etc. etc. etc. :gah:

I was just having a discussion with my wife about that the other day. It's amazing how much crap is allowed on tv these days, the language, nearly nude people, sex, sex, sex. And yet, a show emphasizing freedom of speech that was widely accepted 40 years ago wouldn't be accepted today. Completely backwards in my opinion.

Love it man. Quiet Man is one of my favorite Wayne movies. I was so happy when they released it on blu ray awhile ago. Great job on that bash :clap

Thanks! Haven't seen it on Blu Ray.. Did it improve the quality of the film? The prints always seemed a little grainy to me...

If you had to pick one John Wayne western movie as your favorite which would it be? I am going with Rio Bravo, it was the first Wayne western I ever saw. So many others are awesome though.

The Searchers is my favorite Wayne movie. I absolutely love it Love Rio Bravo too, but Ethan Edwards is a more interesting character for me compared to John T Chance. Wayne has a mean streak in The Searchers and his acting is top notch.
