Heard back from Scott. He hasn't ruled out doing the figure for us, he is just very backed up with other projects right now. He said to get back to him when things slow down a little for him and see where he is. All hope is not lost.

I am very surprised we have not seen a Duke yet. Some of the characters that get done by the great artists here are such odd choices, to me at least.

Just scanning through the custom projects which are actually happening and was struck by the figures that get made ahead of John freakin' Wayne. I know we all have our favorite characters that seem inconsequential to everyone else, but really - the Duke?

Yeah, I was a little surprised when this didn't happen... John Wayne seems such a good, logical choice for a figure. With so many iconic roles, its just seems like a no-brainer. :slap
