OK that looks promising. What site did you retrieve that info from? Preston is 10 mins away. I could maybe collect!?

I just googled UK postal service and used the first website that popped up -- https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item -- hopefully they can help you out. Keep me posted.

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Will give royal mail a call. But for some reason I get this message when entering the tracking number, rather than the actual tracking. Odd!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Telling me the reference is incorrect. Hence why I've not been able to sort this on my own. I had no idea who was going to deliver it. :gah:

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Hi, spoke to my local delivery depot yesterday and they have got back to me today to let me know that they can't locate the item. They advised that the sender should contact the delivery service they used (CanadaPost) to put in a claim for a missing item, they can then liase with Royal Mail to confirm that this is the case.

Would you please PM me with updates regarding this please.

Thank you!

I can call Canada Post and attempt to put in a claim, but the package technically isn't lost considering it's still trackable. It hasn't been updated on Royal Mail for quite some time now which is beyond me, but it registers as a tracking number there and all. Wouldn't this be an issue that the UK postal service needs to work out? Canada Post got it there but now is it not in their hands? I can call regardless and do what I can.

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Of course it's still trackable. ....when an item is lost it doesn't then scan as "lost" Royal mail have already confirmed to me that they can't locate it...therfore, they have tried to work it out already and the conclusion is....lost. the fact the tracking hasn't updated for 2 weeks now also makes it clear that the package is in limbo somewhere. And as it was sent and insured with Canada Post, the responsibility of a claim lies with you and them. As I said, they'll liase with Royal Mail.

I let you know all this on Tuesday, it's now Friday and I can't beleive you've not even attempted to speak with Canada post yet. I also sent you 2 messages to your inbox, since Tuesday so it's not like you didn't know.

So yes please put a claim in and please refund me my money. I'm less than happy with all of this. After the estimated delivery day had passed, again I sent 2 messages asking where I can track the item and it took a message on here to get your attention. Since then a further 3 days for you to even acknowledge the fact I've told you the package is now lost. I don't want to wait any longer anymore.

You sent it mate so it's in your hands to sort out now.

Cheers!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

OK. ....5 days now since my last post and i've heard absolutely nothing back from The Danger!! You have failed to respond here, and you have ignored the messages I have sent to your inbox.

I'm beginning to think you charged me $40 postage for an uninsured postal service, why else would you be reluctant to help resolve or indeed respond to the situation? Did you insure the item or not? If so I want refunding for the missing parcel asap.

Am I really going to have to resort to opening a paypal dispute to try and recoup some of my costs?

I spoke with a customer service representative and they can't open a dispute with Canada Post until the item has been out for more than 45 days. Begin to think whatever you'd like, but here's the receipt before tax:

You'll have to wait to see if it shows up in the next 2 weeks because there's nothing else I can do. Have you called the Preston Mail Centre? Tracking number says they attempted delivery on the 11th, and then it went there afterwards. How is any of this my fault?

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Just been looking on Canada post website and priority post.....which is how you told me you'd sent it, only has liability cover up to $100 - and I can see that figure on the receipt also! I can't seem to see any mention of a 45 day wait either before they will consider the item lost. Royal mail have already confirmed that they can't locate the package so I suggest that you speak with someone directly at Canada Post, rather than a representative and explain that too them!

The last tracking update was on the 5th November and there has been Zero delivery attempts. The package hasn't even made it to my local depot!

Please tell me...what value did you put on the item and what are the contents insured for. I'd like to see the full receipt!

I'm not prepared to wait another two weeks. It's been going on long enough. The manner you have dealt with this is also appalling. I notice your on here everyday so why do you chose to ignore me and this situation?

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

No indication of a delivery attempt here

Also in their terms ( Top paragraph), as they told me when they confirmed the item was lost. It's is down to the carrier it was sent with to compensate.

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

And in relation to the 45 day thing you mention. Expected delivery was the 6th November? Quite clear that since we're almost 3 weeks since then, why the need for a 45 day wait.

If you can, please point me to those terms on the Canada Post website so I can check it out!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Tominatot,
The Danger is not a fault here. He has sent your package out, you have a tracking number and receipt. I know it is a lot of money and frustrating, but it's the mail centres fault. You have bought something off a trusted freak like all on the list - it was sent. It is now sitting somewhere, unfortunately not at your house. Did you ask or pay for extra cover if it got lost? I am sure a solution will be met, and like I said, the situation is ****, but you will need to wait to see where it ends up -and they will tell you to wait X amount of time before a claim...nothing more can be done at this stage. I'm sure the Danger has done what he can upto this point...

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Yes I checked it was fully insured. And I want confirmation that that is indeed the case.

Are trusted members given the right to ignore posts and messages then? It may be out of his hands, but the least he can do is make the phone calls, and keep me updated, or at least acknowledge my concerns.

I have been told that the item is lost.....he responds by telling me technically it isn't as it's still trackable!! and at that point he hadn't even made a phone call enquiring about it. Not very helpful and i've every reason to be annoyed!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

It is his responsibility to ensure I receive the item I paid for. If I don't then I want my money back. It's as black and white as that!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Wow. You really felt it necessary to open a dispute while the item is still in transit, with a tracking number? Jesus Christ dude, I told you we had to wait a certain amount of time. What is the deal?

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

Waiting the suggested time will leave me unable to claim via PayPal. The whole point of sending payment using the "Goods" service is so I can claim, should a problem arise. I would be stupid not to use this feature. Unfortunately for me, the time has already lapsed for my first payment of $100 and I'm not prepared to loose my ability to claim for the rest of it.

Yes I've now opened a dispute. I also expect the decent thing to be done and the remaining amount of $140 ($40 shipping costs) to be paid to me, once the claim has finalised.

Regards!

Re: Walter White's Felina set by Yunsil - collecting addresses!

To add. It's not still in transit. As I've said many times, I've already been told that the item is lost. Just look at the tracking, it's not moved from where ever it is, for 20 days.

The point of the tracking number is so the parcel can be located, royal mail are unable to locate it. In that respect the tracking number has now served it's purpose.

Not cool, at all. How is it possible that the item is lost? There's a tracking number saying it was going to that post office, after an ATTEMPTED DELIVERY. Wouldn't that literally translate as your fault? I can't be there to make sure you pick it up. Call them again, it says it was on its way to the postal outlet so unless some idiot driver used it to wipe his ass, it isn't lost. Jesus ****ing Christ…
