GREAT NEWS: Since we didn't reach the 50 needed for an iminime greenlight, Erick Sosa, ZKULPTOR, has agreed to do the headsculpts for us as he loves this film!

He confirmed with me over email that he'll start in May, which is right around the corner! :yess:

So we're getting some top notch sculpts of these great characters for sure!

Any pictures of his previous work? Reason I favor iminime is they deliver a great headsculpt with excellent paintwork and usually nice clothing/accessories.

Its great that he is doing them as Eric is one of my fav sculptors and Im specially a fan of his Chris Reeve sculpt, however you only gave like 3/4 days for the interest list to reach 50... maybe you could have been a little more patient... most take weeks to reach numbers... I think that Training Day Denzel took a good part of half a year to finally get a confirmation...

But in anycase congrats, I always wanted to get Eric's skills on making small runs of Anime characters maybe with him more involved on the boards now itll become a distinct possibility...

It would still be a gamble and since the interest rate was a lot lower than other greenlit projects in the same amount of time. The Training Day was actually started back in 2011, so it took almost 2 years to get enough interest.

If there wasn't a sculptor as talented as Erick that was interested in doing the sculpt (and passionate about the characters) I would have taken the gamble and left the interest list open (but I honestly couldn't see it reaching the numbers needed).

In this case we have a top notch sculptor that says he'll start it in May so I felt like it's best to strike when the iron's hot, as you all know there's so many projects that get abandoned when the stars aren't aligned. I felt like this could suffer that fate particularly since it's not an action, comic or violent drama which is where the overwhelming bulk of interest in characters fall on the boards.
